The ACR has a team of dodge engineers
To set up the suspension perfectly for track events in magazines and tv, so the results are slightly biased. With factory settings the zr1 is likely the faster car. Even if the owner adjusts the acr's suspension I doubt they'll get the same results as the professionals at dodge did.

The Viper will actually reappear here very shortly in '12. Currently, since Fiat bought the remainder out, it gave Chrysler a second chance. They are currently in production of the 2012 Viper though it hasnt gone on sale yet....but probably will in a couple months. Not going to go into the whole ordeal here, but I also believe Benz ****ed Chrysler. Vette any day for me, but the Viper does stand its own ground.

If I saw a zr1 driving down the road I could care less. If I saw an ACR driving down the road I would be staring. The zr1 probably is a faster car but it doesnt have a 'cool' factor like the ACR does

Corvettes are common though. They dont turn my head, but if it was a ZR1 it would.

I have seen a few vipers, usually driven by some guy that looks like he was cast from "Jersey shore", so its not really a head turner to me either, but if it was a ACR, sure, Id take notice.

Still though, I see a 2010 Nissan GTR every now and then and its a jaw-dropper. Not even that it looks good, but because you know that its just bristling with speed.

Its like cars are women, I take notice to all, but if one has a badge that says "Im not wearing any underwear", yah, Ill notice that more

.02 is hardly a kill. It's really more of a photo finish where the driver makes the difference.

Now take the test repeat it over a variety of different track layouts and average the times and see what you get.

With that sort of gap it's too close to call.

Yeah, despite the fact that the Corvette is currently on sale over here; in 2010 only two were sold in the whole of Britain! And I hate to think how much of a commercial failure the SRT-10 was when it was on sale here a few years back.

I'll hope for your sake it was a joke, but given the post above it, clearly some people don't know squat about these cars.

I'm sure Corvette will make something faster but what do I know! I'm never seen those 2 cars in real life!
