at 2500 rpm-the peak torque is 700 ft-lbs

and at 4300 the engine puts around 800 foot lbs!!!

in the stock competition the viper acr got 2nd,and the vette zo6 got 3rd while the porsche got a hefty first.....

dodge, didnt send a professional driver with the car though, and porsche, and chevy did,so the writer of the articlce still did a damn good job of maintaing 2nd place, could've got 1st with a pro driver though

yes i did buy the 10,000 horsepower shootout issue of Car and Driver (sept 2002 issue)...............

oh eddy, appearently, the car had a bad quarter mile time, due to turbo lag, which is sad

The should make a new 800. Instead of being twin turbo, it should be supercharged and should run off nitrous oxide. :fdevil:

Twin supercharged??
hmmmmmmm?
I think the problem there would be engine bay space.

and that lethal 750 viper has a normal viper engine,no turbo, just bored out to 550 cubic-inches (compared to stock 488 cubic-inches) and the car had EXTREMELY good throttle response considering its natrually aspirated.....

Not twin supercharged...

Or maybe just single turbo and run off pure nitrous oxide. 😈

there is special intake pieces that spread out,you can fit dual superchargers (never seen it done, but my dad's old plyymoth barracuda had one with four 2 barrel carbs!!!!!) so im supposing you can definetly fit dual superchargers

The Rinspeed Viper Veleno runs off Nitrous Oxide...

and it has 550 horses for like waht 12-22 secs????

i may not know my NAWS!!! but it only lasts a little, howabout boring your engine to 550 cubic inches and getting 750 full time hoses from that upgrade, other than that the veleno is a gr8 viper,in looks, and performance

.........*stares at eddy blankly hoping he realises what he said*
