Viper vs Vette - GT2 Style

Well, there's been a lot about Vipers vs Corvettes in real life, so what about Vipers vs Corvettes in Gran Turismo 2.

I still reckon the Viper, looks better and has more horespower (they both spin out).

seeing as how theres no decent vettes in GT2 ill have to cote viper. vettes are better in real life though.

The Viper. The Vette sucks, plain and simple. The Viper Boys (Dess-Viper V-10, viper_maniac, etc.) will definately vote for Viper.

I'm gonna have to vote for the ZR-1 and the Grand Sport. Much better at dealing with the power and sticking to the road. Vipers are entertaining to race with on the arcade disk, but I wouldn't trust myself to racing with it on the Sim. disk!

Tell me about it (no good vettes in GT2 I mean ) I bought a '67 Stingray Coupe and I raced it. Man was I disappointed; 4 gears, top speed of just over 200kph... What a waste of money.

Perhaps you need to tune that car a bit, as it is pretty quick once you slap a gearbox and tune it right.

Viper vs Vette? Depends on what we are comparing here. Are we comparing which has the best in the game, obviously the Oreca & STP Viper are miles ahead of the Vette's available. The ZR1 is poorly represented in this game. When given near the same power, the Camaro will even kill the Vette, for some reason it has been given much better handling. The Vipers with similar type tuning in the game, will beat the Vette.

viper, vette, same difference. i dont really like either one, but ive seen a vette faster than that stupid ass hennessey bull****, since everybody thinks thats the fastest viper out there...the damn thing breaks down like a ****in......oh forget it, i dont feel like getting b*tched at by those viper freaks. vettes rule!

For shure the viper, Its got more curves than my girlfriend,more power,and excellent handling and torque,its top notch for anyone who wants a car that has 450 horses under 100,000 bucks
and that 489 Ft-LBS of torque.....

But the viper now runs at a 500 Horse,500 Ft lbs of torque,500 cubic inches of pure power machine.....

(505 Ft lbs to the exact)

yeaaaah.....anyway. Of course the Viper is called the better car. It has 2 more cylinders then a corvette. But look at the price. And the Viper has been the same for 10 years (not counting the 2003). Why couldn't they have put in the C-5 Corvette??

40,000 is alot better. sure the viper is a really nice car. but, i would go for the most cheapest car.

and, by the way, it's UNDER 100k. that's what > means. closer to 80, i believe. if you're going to get a car, get a car. don't do stuff half-way. it's just stupid. i see Corvettes every single freaking day, and it's just dumb to add more to the crowd. why join the crowd when you could smoke them and win all their $$??
