Volvo's to be unveiled on Thursday (13th).
Launch details for the highly anticipated Volvo Polestar Racing squad will see the covers lifted off the Swedish attack on Thursday morning.

The newest manufacturer on the V8 Supercars grid, Volvo Polestar Racing has confirmed plans to reveal its twin S60 fighters at Sydney’s historic Rocks precinct.
Later in the evening Ford Performance Racing will stage its reveal at Sydney Motorsport Park while Red Bull Racing Australia will hold its launch at a similar time.

The Red Bull unveiling at a boutique venue at Alexandria will see both the Holden and Ford squads fighting for their share of coverage at conflicting timeslots.
Meanwhile the SP Tools-backed Holden Racing Team will rip the covers off its Commodores at 8am on Wednesday.

Good thing we're a day behind you guys. Wednesday it is! :D

And for those who didn't click on the link. Here's the teaser pic of the Volvo.

The HRT's might be as bright as the HDT Commondores

The first thing I thought of was D'Alberto's livery from last year.

Red rims?

We will see soon enough.

Norton livery. Pretty much the same as last years. Which isn't a bad thing as it easily was one of the best livery's last season. Jack Daniel livery's expected to drop tomorrow. More on the aero package here.

I thought the wing that Ford & Holden are using was going to be mandatory for all cars?

No, could be wrong but as far as I'm aware there aren't any mandatory aero parts.

People just use the side mounted rear wings because it creates 2 points of drag, over for with the middle mounted one with creates 4 points of drag because of the winglets on the side and the mounts in the middle!

The Albert Park rounds always have gimmicks. With any luck, the round will be included in the championship next year and the format will be standardised.

Pretty much the same as last year's design. But looking at both the DJR Falcons and the Norton Altimas, I think they should flip the colours of the livery to tell the cars apart.

Yeah, as PM said it's pretty much the same as last year's livery. Quite like it, though a part of me wishes they changed it up and did something a little different with it.

Moffat's car should have kept his trademark black rims.
Different colour mirrors or banners would help differentiate team cars. As Erebus pointed out, having similar livery helps in swapping parts.

The AGP is always good. I'll take the gimmicks. Its all about hearing and seeing the cars. I dont care about formats for this event. The drivers fight hard at the AGP.

Some extra reading before more livery reveals

Triple Eight have once again proven why they are the most unpopular team - they just blocked Jonathon Webb from joining HRT for the endurance races because they supply Tekno with a chassis.

I don't like it. It has the name "Kelly" on the window, so of course it's going to be horrible.

You have got to be 🤬 kidding me. Petty. But than again after his comments about Burgess leaving to go to Walkinshaw, Roland Dane seems like one very petty individual. That means Luff with probably join Tander now (my understanding he was going to be partnered with Percat), ironic since he probably knows more about the factory Triple 8 outfit having driven from them for the past couple of years than Webb does. Love how this comes out the night before the HRT Launch too.

Yeah, Luff has been put forward as the most-likely candidate for the seat.

*Borat voice activate "that's nice"

Looks cool. Not what i expected but nice nonetheless, although front quarter panel is a bit empty.
Luff and Murphy confirmed. A real dick move by Triple 8.
