I'm going this weekend everybody!

I'll probably miss the races this weekend. No internet at the new place yet. Will be calling about setup on Friday, but I probably won't have it going until next week sometime. :(

Some more TCM before V8s tomorrow. I believe one of the XB Falcons has close to 700hp!

At this rate I'm only going Saturday, but I might go Sunday if I can convince mum!

Nice to see Percat inside the top ten for all three sessions.

Would be even nicer to see Holdsworth with a title sponsor :/

I believe both cars will have identical liveries from this race forward. I'll try to search for that post.

In other Erebus news, both cars will run in the branding of home appliance manufacturer Beko at Symmons Plains. The Turkish brand moved onto the doors of Holdsworth’s car midway through the Albert Park weekend after the #4 entry had supported The Children’s Hospital at Westmead through the early part of the season. The team continues to work on permanent primary backing for both entries.

You know the atmosphere is building when.... Mum's cutting the sandwiches.

Really hope this isn't a Red Bull weekend.

So I've woke up and its race day, and in and hour I'll be at the track!

I can see The Spirit of Tasmania from my window. Think I have enough time to load my car and make it? :boggled:

Russell Ingall in 3rd for Race 4!

^ Did not see that one coming.

Caruso and Percat didn't get a lap in, anyone know why?

You won't want to hear this then, Red Bull front row for the first race. Qualifying for the next race to start in 5 minutes.

Both Emv8s in the top 10!! Yes, FINALLY!!

^👍 Nice run for Dahlgren too in 11th.

Frustrating to see that JC could only mange to qualify 17th for the second race. Hopefully HRT have better race pace.

That's what I'm thinking. 42 laps will see who has the better set up. Its all about that hairpin. Who overshoots and who gets hit from behind.

Ugh. Nissan slow this weekend it seems. Guess missing the races won't be a big deal.

As with the USA event, I'd love to see an event held in Germany, Sweden and Japan.

Argh! Commercials! Hope Davison holds position ahead of Tander :nervous:

For such a small track it sure is entertaining. Quite a few drivers on the edge at the moment and it makes for great viewing.

Japan is a possibility, but Sweden and Germany won't happen. The rules that came with the series getting "International" status prohibit the series from going to Europe. Even if they could, a race in Germany won't happen - Erebus aren't officially recognised by Mercedes as a Mercedes team.

Mechanical black flag for Van Gisbergen. Bit of a shame, he's part of a good pack battle. Hopefully Lowndes can put some distance over whincup an settle in for a nice victory.

Aaand now a safety car because Rick Kelly's in the sand. Wonder what carnage will result from this restart.

The EMV8, because of its HWA developed engine, is recognised as being in the AMG Customer program. The Euro venues are most definitely a strectch. Id still live to see it though.

Tough circuit due to all the cars making similar lap times. This restart should see a bit of mix up.

Whincup's an a grade turkey.
