I hope Jason Bargwana hits van Gisbergen as hard as van Gisbergen hit McLaughlin.

Coulthard was damn lucky not to hit the wall there. :scared:

Ryan Walkinshaw looked like he was about to hit the guy in front of him out of excitement.

Woo, HRT 1-2.

Great battle between the FPR and Red Bull cars towards the end.

Good race. What a difference a circuit makes. The E63s definitely have batter drive with the flywheels. Able to keep up with the S60 and Altima in the tight stuff. Shame about the unsafe release.

Anyone notice the lack of ads but, more time interviewing people just when mishaps occured?

Yeah I noticed more interviews, and I don't think I was the only one annoyed by them. Seemed like whenever something happened, even the slightest contact, they felt the need to talk to someone.

I like Adrian Burgess when Courtney got out of shape, " GO AWAY AND BOTHER SOMEBODY ELSE!"

Yeah that's what I was referring to mainly. :p

Kelly Racing can re-wrap two V8 Supercars in one night ready for race 3. Not bad, shame their cars aren't as quick as their decorators.

We all know NISMO didnt take V8SC as serious as Volvo have. I want to know exactly what they are doing to help KR. The aero side of things may be sorted. However, the upgrades should be ready to go before the next venue. The Hornets are even witb Erebus. They could be where Volvo are or better by now.

JD team may not be fast this weekend but they have been this year, just not at often as the Hornets

Complete order is: JB, JW, CL, SM, GT, JC, SVG, NP, CM, and TS 10, as WD should cop two spots to 11th.

Top 10 Shoot out.

Jack Perkins having a forgettable weekend, Todd Kelly put him in the wall in race 2 yesterday and now he's out after two corners today!

e: also Dahlgren in P6 courtesy of most of the field pitting under the lap 1 safety car. Come on Robbie, be racy for a change

Disappointing for Bright, especially after that fantastic performance in the top ten shootout. And the double stacking really screwed Courtney and Winterbottom. GT is well positioned in this one, hopefully the car looks after it's tyre's well.

Erebus should have followed Whincup with one of the cars. Lee got the drop on Will. Still early.

Triple Eight under investigation for the car controller interfering with Lowndes' stop - he moved a tyre out of the way after it had been taken off the car.

The incident will be investigated after the race, which is typical - Whincup got a drive-through in Adelaide when the controller touched the car, which led to a furore. But no, it's Triple Eight, so if Roland Dane throws a wobbly over it (that's a very childish tantrum for our non-Australian viewers), the stewards will acquiesce.

Honestly, don't know why Whincup got a drive through at Adelaide and Lowndes at worse is going to receive a points penalty. Maybe it's just me but I don't see the difference between the two incidents.

Edit: Nevermind, they just explained it. Doesn't matter anyway Lowndes race is all but done, engine overheating issues.

He pitted with damage to the front-left corner. During the stop, the car controller touched the car to check the strength of the bodywork. The argument was made that by doing so, the car controller was working on the car, taking his attention off the stop and the pit lane.

Yeah, sorry got should have worded my previous post better. What I meant to say is, if Jaime got a drive through at Adelaide which was totally deserved. Why isn't Craig getting one in this race for pretty much the same infringement. But as I was typing Damian White(?) explained the difference between the two. And it's a moot point now anyway.

It's a semantic difference. As the commentators pointed out, there was nothing stopping the car controller from directing the wheelman to move the tyre. In doing as he did, the controller took his eyes off the lane, and that was a big factor in the Whincup penalty.

I suspect Whyte knows Roland Dane will make a fuss over things if the team gets a penalty.

EMV8 performance wise, looking good. Will be an interesting last 20 laps for the top 7.

Don't think Tander will have the tires to hold off Whincup. Unfortunately. :indiff:

Yeah there's still 20 laps still left. Little to no chance of holding Whincup off for that long. :/ Hopefully at the least both HRT can score a podium.

Edit: And he's passed Tander. Poo.

Why is it that the more unlikeable a driver is, the faster he can go?
