Mostert seems to be strong in the last sector. That seems to be what stops a lot of people from topping his time. Winterbotton in second, Whincup in third with 5 minutes to go.

Funny how Whincup's rise back to form has coincided with his full day testing tyres for V8SC.

Awesome job by Holdsworth to get the #18 into 4th.

Plus, he has a new car.

This is going to be good.

Some great racing in Carrera Cup, hopefully the V8's can replicate it later today.

Nissan: 18, 19, 20, 22

:indiff:

But it's the co-drivers first. Might be some mayhem.

Geez, with his comments just then, I'm surprised Tander didn't put a handicap parking permit on Ingall's windscreen.

SuperView audio/video sync is off for me which is super annoying.

At least they are far away from Bourdais, I guess.

Ah, Bourdais, you've done it again.

Premat's hamburger cam is smashed.

Dang! T.Kelly your car is done again...

Bourdais has already made some friends in V8SC on these opening laps.

Dalberto is braking way too early. Oh geez.

Edit: Pither and Jones.

Main thing I've noticed about these co-driver's. Racing room is not in their dictionary.

Hope this is not a sign of things to come.

No one can possibly think that this a good thing for v8 supercars

Props to Karl Reindler for dragging the LDM car higher than Blanchard has put it all season. Race was chaotic as expected, next one will probably be pretty dull. Looking forward to Sunday's (well, Saturday here) long race.

Should be a 300km race today and 500km tomorrow.

Codrivers need more time in these cars. If they can't get in the car before today, 20Laps isn't going to do much. Especially if they have toonsit out the rest of the day while the car is being fixed in he garage.

Should just qualify today with a top ten shootout..
Then race tomorrow

With you on that. The qualifying races are putting the cars at an unnecessary risk. Just look at the damage Bright's car sustained.

I just don't understand Nissan. We know they didn't take the series seriously in 2013. I'm just perplexed that they are still trying to make power and get these cars consistent even after Sky City. Volvo and Erebus are fast but, what are they doing? I hope Nissan aren't going to pull out based on this year's perfeormance.

Lowndes punts Perkins out of the Top 5 then deservedly gets a drive through.

He's starting to make a habit of this...

Deservedly so. That was pretty damn blatant.

Frosty needs to stuff it in there beause, Mostert will.

Well, that's that. He had his chance.

Sorry, people. Frosty is a bum.

There goes Perkins chance for tomorrow.

What an idiot is Heimgartner. Keep it off the track, not re-enter in front of a car then lose it.
