I think three Asian tracks would suffice. Anymore and it'll start to take away from some of the tracks here in Australia.

As for what tracks it could be, Shanghai and possibly Bahrain come to mind, but since they've been there already with little success, it'd be a long shot.
Abu Dhabi, hell Macau? :p

Zhuhai? Fuji?

More Top 10 shootout's please. One of the best features of this series and they seem to be slowly disappearing.

At least there's no more unnecessarily long five week breaks. Still wish they'd get rid of the boring Saturday sprint races completely though.

Warburton said the Sprints are in the works for possible refueling. With more tyres allocated for race meetings, it would make sense.

Me too, the sprint race format is terrible. It sounded like they were going to scrap it mid way through this season since it wasn't working so I hope they at least change dramatically next year.

I started really watching this series when it was still one long race on Saturday, then another on Sunday. That is better than two follow the leader sprints with no pit stops by far.

Watching the 2007 PI race. The field still using the H-pattern gearbox when the rest of the world switched to sequential and paddle shifts. XBOX 360 sponsorship. 31 cars on track and so many different liveries.

My first trip to Australia. Brings back many memories.

Remember to set your FOXTEL HD to "Stun". Coverage begins at 10am.

Looking forward to this weekend. Finally some long races.

I always forget how they do these stupid qualifying races at Sandown, why can't we just have a top 10 shootout :(

Nobody wants to throw away a good grid position so the races are fairly boring..

Nice to see Premat back and on the pace too. Bodes well for the weekend just as long as the S60 can last the distance. Good job by Ingall too in the third session.

Tomorrow's qualifier is going to be awesome.

The big question - who's going to qualify the #34 car? Pither has the pace so far, unsurprisingly given his speed at the Grand Prix.

Garry Rogers will definitely pick the fastest driver. I'll pick Pither.

Ingall is also quicker than Perkins, but Ingall says that Perkins will be picked to qualify the car.

How much proof do we need of Walls uselessness.

No doubt. Ingall isn't the best qualifier either. Kind of messed up Perkins was in the "clipped" Falcon last year and this FG X would have been better for him.

Really impressed with Ingall's pace yesterday but I think it's wise for Jack to qualify given that Rusty obviously hasn't had much time in the car.

Was about to say something similar myself.

Winterbottom has topped the final practice before Qualifying today followed very closely by Mostert, Whincup then Pye.

Nice job from Perkins as well to get into the top five in that session.

I wasn't sure about Pye/Ambrose being a contender but after the efforts of today and yesterday, they could just be a dark horse for this.

Ambrose fined $5k for doing a practice start during practice, which apparently isn't allowed.

Looks like little Timmy down the street wont get his go-kart built cause Uncle Ambrose has to pay a non-sense fine.

It was a ride-day so I'm a bit iffy on whether that fine is deserving or not. I mean, taking advantage of something others don't have a chance to isn't something that should be happening.

Anywho, Moffat is apparently the only Nissan without the new upgrade, but is currently the fastest of the Nissan squad.

That's sad, the last part that is.
