I have GT6 going in a pre-race menu now just to hear my Super GT car whiz by. Anyone else do this? And what car do you love to hear the most?

Always one person that tells me where I should've posted something, Still, I should probably actually look for the right place XD

IF you hear it for more than a few seconds. To me, it sounds okay when it roars past the camera

joke? while I love the handling, the sound is HORRIBLE... 1990's hoover style horrible.
I think there's a love/hate relationship with people and the HSV's engine note. Personally I quite like it. It always makes me giggle when I'm behind one on track. It sounds like a fly IMO.

Well okay,let me say.

JAGUAR XJ220

This engine sound allways give me chills since GT2. And keep being my absolute favourite to listen.

I like to put my C7 in 3rd gear, sit at 3,000 RPM and floor it. Gotta love that. 👍

The car actually sounds like that IRL.

That's one of the 20 Mil cars, right?

The GT6 car hisses (think vacuum cleaner, or a huge fly), the IRL car hums.
What the hell kind of flies do you get around your way?! Or vacuum cleaners, for that matter? Hissing??? :odd: These flies of yours, are they elongated? No legs? Forked tongue? A little bit bigger than your usual fly and slightly reptilian?

The only difference I can hear between the real life version and the game version (apart from the pops from the exhaust and a few other non-engine sounds) is reverb and resonance. The in game version sounds very 'dry', whereas in that video you can hear the engine note bouncing around the trees and open space, it's much 'wetter'.

I stand corrected, using the exterior view, the sound is REALLY different (check for yourself to see what I meant by annoying hoover/fly sound) from the hood/cockpit view, where it definitely sounds like the IRL car.

Good point though, it really does change with the different cameras, that's true. I didn't really think of that. I guess people's opinion on it's engine note will vary depending on the view they've used with it.

Yeah, it's like it's two different engines in this case though lol.

Back on topic the Redbull Junior is my favorite, love the shifter Karts too...

How about Shelby Series One? I think it sounds absolutely stunning at high revs. I also like the sound of the KTM X-Bow with Sports or Semi-Racing exhausts, both sound very nice, and sure far nicer than stock 👍

Not quite on topic, nearly though - The first time I did the RB Standard Championship; the sound of all those other engines ringing around Silverstone during the race, faintly wailing away in the background after you've overtaken them all as the track loops around on itself. Still love that.

...I should probably have posted this in the Epic Praising & Crying Tears of Joy thread, but what the hell.
