How should the driver names be?

  • Total voters
    29
  • Poll closed .
Go for it, as long as I can be #38. My sponsor will also be, of course, Hot Wheels as per usual.
Of Course, why mess with a good thing right? Got any good team name ideas? I didn't really think this through...

Well let's get manufacturer and your sponsors out of the way first to get a grasp as to good team names.

@BRRT_Angel Well, guess I should make out the Official entry:

Driver: BKGlover
Number: 79
Team: NCTX Motorsports
Engine: Audi (can explain thoughts if need be)
Schedule: Full*
Sponsor: None

*In the event of the roster exceeding the grid, I am willing to give up my entry so as many as possible can get involved. Even if that includes Indy.

36 entrants is the absolute limit. 13 of each engine for Indy. You will be kept.

Wait, why 36 for every race? You just shot realism out of the window.
Not all 36 will be able to enter every event. 36 is the max I'll take for Indianapolis. 28 is the max number everywhere else. If I run two heat races, one from each race will DNQ under normal circumstances. At Indy it'll be set up differently and I plan on posting that more thoroughly today.

Updated the OP with new sections, including an engine count number. Audi is full, and Chevrolet isn't far behind. Honda has no love. Templates will be posted in the afternoon here in the US, as well as links to the mod itself in the OP under the livery requirements tab so keep an eye out for that.

Just an update, @aarror and I will most likely be using Honda engines so count us into that tally :sly:

I miscounted. Chevrolet is full for full time entries and Audi has one full time spot currently available unless Cherokee make that #98 a full time car.

I will be starting private conversations with every team for paint schemes and such.
@BRRT_Angel

Cherokee Motorsports-Audi
#97:
raven214/USA/ALS Association

Fixed my entry for you.
Fixed in the OP.
Let's make it official:

Mugen-Honda
#27:
aarror/CAN/Got Milk?

#38: Gerarghini/USA/Hot Wheels
Added to the OP.

Are we using Photoshop or Gimp file @BRRT_Angel
There's the option of one or the other depending on what each team wants. I'm not an artist, so I'll need to sort everything out before I start letting everyone run rampant in paint studios.

Neither am i so ive been watching videos on how to do it but the one thing i did learn is that templates between Gimp and Photoshop are different thats why i was asking which template were you going to put in the OP

Templates arent different, PS and Gimp just have a different save file type. Both can open a .psd file (which most templates will be). The only thing we need to know is what file type we need to export. (probably a .dds)
Edit: Racecar is probably right, this is what iRacing is based on and it uses .tga files

I'm thinking since this is an Nr2003 mod and given my experience in painting for different NR2003 mods, File format will likely be TGA. Most programs will easily save in TGA if I recall.

I've seen different templates and the save thing is what probably I meant and Tga is the file for NR according to my friend who does races on there
