Bruh...that's not cool bruh. :p And wait....SOMEONE'S BUYING A RACETRACK?! Where the heck did they get money for THAT?!

Toronto, Canada- After being contacted by Cherokee Motorsports' Clayton Hardy in regards to the invitation to the Audi Sport test at Charlotte, team principal Steven McTavish has announced that they will be accepting the invitation to spectate at the test. "It's a fantastic opportunity to be invited by the factory Cherokee Motorsports team to Charlotte to get an insight into what Audi Sport is working on. We will be sending Gary Slater, technical director Robert McAllister and a small number of engineers over to North Carolina to spectate at Cherokee's test."

McTavish also acknowledged the recent bids by Mallory Park and Brands Hatch to bring a round of the VRR Straight Talk Indycar Series to the UK. "Following Silverstone's rejection of our series, we are glad other UK venues have shown interest in hosting a round. Our team fully backs the bid by Brands Hatch and we hope to secure a race in the UK in the near future."

Let it play out...it's a work in progress.

Practice 1 and 2 for the New Jersey test is today! 31 out of 35 signed up entrants will be in the test, which will make this really exciting. Grid size for the Michigan test (being run on September 25), all entrants will be on track racing, much like the Monster Shootout will have. The Ruapuna test will have the standard 28 car field.
Schemes I do not have...
@AJHG1000 -- Scheme made, but not working in game. Most schemes are 13-18 mb, while yours is 1.2, which means something is wrong.
@Gerarghini -- Wat u doin m80? Your teammate needs you! Hurry!
@rcb929 -- Late join, hopefully I have yours by the Michigan test.
@Kingofweasles -- Really late join. Should have yours by the Michigan test since it's just recycling the one made for @amaterasu

Field looking nice. The schedule is finalized and all the tracks work. Last thing to work on is the recording...woo...kill me...

Working tracks are always nice...

Side note, any word on that Trans Am series @KuniKino****a is/was working on? I've been finding myself lurking other B Spec Series to join and that one sounded great. I think B Spec stuff is sort of my jam now... Yay endless virtual race watching because I have a stake in it

Can you send me one of the liveries to see what's different from mine?

Right now, it's a matter of who will run it. It will be happening, but that is the big road block right now is who will be running it and how it will be organized. In actuality, I've already sorted out a nice calendar for it. So finding out who can and will run it and follow the VRR way of doing things is where it stands. But I hope to have that organized by the end of October. Then the grid prep can begin.
Can you send me one of the liveries to see what's different from mine?
You will have to ask @RACECAR since all I have are the finished products in .tga format.

Regarding the NJMP event...ooh the heartbreak. Racing was actually really good. So yay. And only 1 caution!

Can you send me one of the liveries to see what's different from mine?

Here's one for reference.

From what she is saying, you seem to have somehow saved your car in a bigger size then everyone

No. His is smaller.

"FP1 was a bit interesting. It just felt like none of the Chevy engines had anything going, which was concerning. 11th isn't bad compared to having 31 drivers here, but you still want to be higher up. FP2 was a lot better personally. 4th was great to see at the end of the session. Bummed that the rest of the team couldn't get up there with me, but qualifying is a different challenge."

Very pleased with how things are going so far. I was completely blown away with how quick we were right from the start. Credit goes to the Playstation crew for making the car fast. Hopefully, our teammates will be right up there with us.

MOTEGI, TOCHIGI, JAPAN--Honda and Twin Ring Motegi have announced that the Honda Indy 300 has officially sold out of tickets. The event, the first points paying oval event in the 2016 VRR Straight Talk IndyCar Series, has been hyped as the oval part of the venue has been out of use since 2010 after a tsunami first damaged the oval structure followed by the Fukoshima plant disaster in late 2011. Honda, who's engines are seen as the most reliable in the VRR field, was proud that the race was sold out. "To have a capacity crowd at our home event is beyond just fantastic and we hope that Honda Racing engines come out in full force for us here in February."
"To have this big of a crowd for our inaugural VRR event is just amazing. We exceeded our goals and we hope that everyone enjoys what Twin Ring Motegi has to offer. We are beyond gracious that VRR extends a hand to us to get us on the calendar. And we cannot wait for the fastest race Motegi will ever provide." The track said in a statement.
Cat Devil Racing team principal Sakura Ishiibashi also chimed in on the news, her team the only Japanese team in the field. "It's fantastic news to hear that the stands will be full for our home race next year. Hope to see a large Cat Crowd in the stands over that weekend."
Coca-Cola Black Rose Racing owner/driver Evangeline Porter said on Twitter overnight, "Good to hear of Motegi's sellout. #VRRSells"

After a very rough first practice , I finally got my eye in for second practice. We'll be aiming for a Top 10 result in all the road course events this season, so it's good to show some pace in practice. Hopefully that carries over to qualifying tomorrow.

Ahh we are fast but not Freaky Fast. We just need the few tenth's so a setup change will do and we will be right there.

"Mid pack is not where we want to be at all. Granted, this is only our first test of the season, but still, the team is looking over the data to see where we are losing time. I know personally in session 2 I had a slight moment during my fast lap so there is still more in the tank. It's just a question of finding it at this point and figuring out where else we can gain time. Hopefully we can find a way up to the right end of the grid in quali."

VRR Reporter: "Great to meet up with you again to chat, Jacob. How's the car feel so far over these first two practice sessions?"
Jacob Descoteau: "The car wasn't too great in the first practice, but we made a few adjustments, tweaked a few things, and so on for the second practice. We were able to gain some speed to bring us up to 12th on the charts."
VRR: "With New Jersey Motorsports Park being your home track, how badly do you want to bring home a win in this weekend's test race?"
JD: "I really want to put on a good show for the fans, and show them what this sport is all about. It's great to see so many supporters in the grandstands. I'll be pushing as hard as I can in qualifying in order to secure a good starting position. From there, we'll just have to play our cards better than anyone else."
VRR: "Reflecting back on the previous test races, what do you think your team as a whole learned about the car and how to improve it in order to be more competitive?"
JD: "We definitely did encounter some problems early on in these test races, but we were able to rebound and secure some good finishes. Our team has great communication; I'm able to tell my crew chief how the car is, what needs working on, and so on. He can then apply the changes just like that. About the car, you can go from adjusting tire pressures t downforce to everything else in between. It all plays a large factor in how competitive we can be."
VRR: "Good luck, I'll talk to you later this weekend, after the race. Thank you for your time."
JD: "Thank you, and hopefully we'll meet in Victory Lane. It was my pleasure."

Looks like a similar situation like what happened in Palm Beach. We'll be tweaking the setup for qualifying and hoping we can get a repeat performance like in Florida.

There's a lot to do and take in while you're on the track, especially for the first time in competition. I'm just learning the car and getting it feeling stable under me, so to be just about 7 tenths out each practice isn't terrible I think. Hopefully I can just get a good clear lap in for qualifying and we'll just have to see where we stack up. The goal of the weekend is to not wreck any cars, and so far we're succeeding, so it's smiles all around in our pit.

"Not exactly where I wanted to end up. Top ten is still nice, but we lost some pace in the cloud cover in qualifying and we need to pick it back up on race day. Glad to see Descoteau in the top ten as well, but at the same time we need to figure out how to get Devereux and Birmingham up to the front too. The race should be great so we'll be fighting for it."

Well that was a frankly pathetic effort in qualifying to be way down in 21st. Hopefully I can turn it around in the race.

Not at all what we were looking for. Somehow we've lost a lot of pace, we'll have to try to find some more speed in order to salvage anything from this race

The tweaks we made to the car really helped in this session. It's great to be up in the top 10 and hopefully we can push for victory in the race.

VRR Reporter: "We're down here in the Coca-Cola BRRT pit with Jacob Descoteau, who is looking to pick up his second win of the test races. How was qualifying, in your opinion?
Jacob Descoteau: "I felt it was a very productive session, as we made adjustments to the car that brought us into the top ten. Also glad that Angel is in the top ten as well."
VRR: "Now that you're starting in ninth, what's your plan for the race?"
JD: "Of course, we want to stay out of trouble, but we want to be fighting for that win. I'm confident that we have a car that's capable of winning."
VRR: "Thanks for your time, and good luck."
JD: "Thanks, I'll be trying my best."

Reporter: Tough climb today to get from 10th to 3rd. How do you feel being on podium?
Porter: It's great! The tough work the team made to get the car up to the front, the amazing pit stops, all of it got us up here. It's fantastic.
Reporter: You're sister held pole position, and had led every lap up to her gearbox failing. What was your reaction to that?
Porter: It was surreal. I had climbed to fourth, and the team had just said "This looks like we're stuck here." when she had her problem. It sucks because she was without question the best one here today. But I can't complain.
Reporter: More problems throughout Coca-Cola Black Rose Racing, as Devereux never cracked the top 20, and Birmingham could only manage 15th. What happened?
Porter: I honestly don't know. Sebastian and I share the same garage team, and the two Jacobs are a sub team, but only one from each side of the team made any headways. We have to look at that and fix it the best we can before we go further.

We just couldn't get the car setup right, was fighting understeer the entire race. 19th sucks, but hey, we didn't lose any positions right? Perly did some good driving. :P
