If you could make up the VRR Super GT schedule, what 9 venues would you choose?

Well that was just humiliating.

Let's see what Angel stirs up ;)

Embarrassing, yes.

Showing how little talent I have, yes.

Hilarious, Probably to everyone else, yes.
It's not a spec series (well, the cars are specced but you know what I mean). You either get it or you don't. Some of us just dont. Including me.

I'm going on a defensive stance and say that running it non tune isn't going to happen. Being able to tune is part of racecraft and this series relies on complete racecraft, not just smart and clean driving. That includes understanding the car, something I haven't even done yet. This is the eye opener. There's work that everyone has to do now either to catch up or stay ahead. The pressure is on now.

Angel, ya wanna add the park about not being allowed to move penalty ballast to the OP?

Room closed.

Update: The hairpin before the second tunnel is incredibly bumpy and could throw off the MRs if they're not careful.

Did a PB of 1:11.9, with averages around the mid-low 1:12s.

Some news from VRR:
1) Thread has been updated to include the points standings at the bottom of the OP. These standings can also be found on VRR's website. Race report coming hopefully today. The finishing order wasn't changed so rest easy with that. I'm just collecting pictures for the website before I fall further behind.

2) Season 3 has been formally announced to be taking place on Gran Turismo 6, starting in January 2016 contrary to what the VRR news post says. The season will include VRR's one year anniversary, a very important milestone. Voting has reopened for the calendar to be determined by the drivers and fans if any of the series that will remain open until the start of the Asian Le Mans Series.

3) Reg balancing will be tested this week. It's become apparent that the regs, which were set in update 1.17, are no longer as balanced as they were. These changes will be implemented before the Canadian 250km on August 1st, barring having to restart due to another GT6 update. Thanks to everyone that attended Motegi. Those discrepancies might not have been as noticeable with less people racing.

EDIT: For those looking for some interesting racing this Saturday, VRR is hosting it's first oval event, the Daytona GT500 event. Thread is in this link. Check it out and sign up if you want.

In my testing I literally ran the exact same lap time in the Lexus and the Nissan. I'm highly convinced these cars are really close if not exactly equal with each other. The only car I am concerned about is the HSV as it out-paced the GTR in the GTPlanet Endurance Series qualifying sessions with 5 less horsepower than what it runs in VRR. I don't physically have the HSV in my garage but if you'd like, and my schedule permits, I could test with you.

I might be able to Race in the Canadian 250km.

I'll confirm my appearance closer to the raceday.

Two weeks from now Mid-Field Raceway will be a very busy place. With two events on Saturday the venue will host the VRR SuperGT series in the afternoon and then that evening the CORE American GT championship will take the stage. I'll be racing in both, fun fun.

I was thinking the same thing, cause even though I know Harry is really good, the HSV seems a bit fast (like it does in every league though )

Hoping that an update comes before I start doing this. Reg testing begins next Monday.

I was surprised how quick the HSV was at Spa. At Motegi the pace was a lot slower at first but I attribute that to my inexperience with the track. First time I ran that track was race day. By the end of the race I was making up nearly a second a lap.

I have all the GT500 and GT300 cars so I can help with reg testing if I'm free.

I would like to participate in the next race if still allowed after my SPA debacle. unfortunately I've been dealing with a bout of the flu and did not have a chance to log on and let you know Angel.

You weren't suspended.

Tomorrow starting at around 6:30am EDT the broadcast for the 2015 Japan 12 Hour will start with the race going green at 7. Virtual Reality Racing drivers kross_24 and GTP_Bambi, along with Timlour and AJHG1000 as the team manager will put the #27 Russian Roulette Racing GTR GT500 class machine through its paces around the Twin Ring. The GTR runs at VRR specification 490hp and 1100kg with RH tires and no assists. #ShamelessPlug but wish us the best of luck tomorrow, we're going to need it when the top four in qualifying are separated by less than a tenth!
