Not anymore. I had to stay up all night ONCE doing chores for the family. But, I'm back on schedule and sleepy already.

So we can still chat for a little while afterwards. I am sleepy too, but I know that I won't go to sleep right now. I just ate supper lol
 
So anyone figure out why we had so much trouble with connections in the Forest?

BTW my connection is a little above average.
Download 13mbps and upload 1-2mbps but sometimes my upload speed drops to 0.8-0.9 due to a 20m cable connected to my Router.

@Nizmo:
I don´t know if everybody does following "routine" before he enters the Lobby:
Go to GT5 and clear the Cache.
Leave GT5 and maybe disconnect from PSN
Reset the router (shut it down and wait 15seconds for turning it on again).
Wait 2-5 minutes and than connect to PSN again
Enter GT5 and normally your lag free (if you are wired or your PS3 stands next to the Router ;))


Reasons for lagging:
PM´s on your PS3
Unused friends or tooo many "friends"
Too many sub-accounts
Too many GT5 Items (colours, cars etc) but that isn´t always the case cause I have plenty of stuff.

Mainly it´s GT5 though because sometimes I can do whatever I want but I can´t stay in a lobby longer than 2minutes.

But if I do the routine I´m normally good and lagfree. But if someone has a laggy connection everybody is effected (maybe less or heavier due to their connection)

There will be lots of people, I know it. Most people were only a bit irritated by the arguments of last week; the arguments boiled down to the Success Ballast, which we're not using anymore.


However, I plan on putting points up shortly.
 
Does anybody have any target times yet? I start running practice laps tomorrow.
 
I think we were in the 54's?
 
🤬 I want to update points SO badly! Arg. I might not go to one of the Rolex races tomorrow. Too much ITCC...
 
My wireless just dropped out on me last night ... If they don't install the wired connection by tomorrow then I might have to miss this weekend altogether ... I'll keep you posted ...

EDIT: Just got off the phone with them, and I was told to check the status of my order by Saturday ... :(

With all the things that's kept my plate full this week, I haven't even been able to test CSR5 yet so no idea on my times yet ... But when my net is up and running I want to run a test session with, hopefully, everyone to see if I'm still creating problems ...
 
I can only test very little so I´m not expecting so much of this Race ;)
Track is a familiar one => it´s easier without so much Tracktime.

Luckily this track is like Forest ... very well known so the chances of knowing the track and the lines are very high ... I still want to put some laps in offline to see where I stand against the rest of you ... Just for interest sake ...

This weekend might come down to draft, actually. That long straight shall be quite interesting.
 
And that's where the out braking maneuver can produce a Hero or a Villain ...

EDIT: Is it possible for J-S to have a reserve driver take my spot if needed this weekend?
