A suggestion for you Mel, from one series director to another:

The first post needs to be much more organized. All the information should be laid out in the first post, not just links to an unorganized Google Docs document. Look around at other series, and get ideas on how to lay things out. If people can find all the rules, they're more likely to follow them and things will run smoother.

Ok guys I would like everyone to say whether they will be present at Clubman Route 5 on Saturday. The ToS needs a good idea on just how many people are planning on running.

I think it was like 6-8ish... Awkwardly enough, about the amount of people we lost this weekend xD

i would come back pending there is a full grid and the RULES DONT CHANGE from here on in, what is set now, stays the same thru to the end of the series,

meaning, no course specific rules, regarding concrete surfaces, no passing zones, etc,

as far as im aware this is the first season, it is trial and error, so any new ideas by patrons/ incedents, should be in a new thread regarding season 2,

I don't think there could be any track specific rules for ssr5... You have road in between two guardrails.. Simple enough? I think so!

Now Mel, don't go all crazy on us, it may be better if you just let everyone race. Only rule: 2 compounds. Everything else is ok...

I saw, Lancer, it's okay. East Coast Motorsports has disbanded.
 
I must say, everyone put in soo much work, and they're just throwing it all out after one race. I'm quite surprised at not only how many people are jumping ship, but also who is jumping ship. C'mon guys, you can't let one race decide how this series is going to function.

Now I'm not saying what happened was ok, it wasn't by any stretch of the imagination. But at least we're trying to fix it. Just something to keep in the back of your mind....

Scwab the poop deck while your at it :lol: The basis of the system is sound. There are a moderate number of small things that are really growing pains for any series.
 
1001 cnd. Also, now, we've generally sorted most rules out, but, are there any that I should update? I'm thinking I might just put a pit window in, but, even that seems difficult... :scared: Why can't we all just follow rules?

i wouldt bother, even for season 2, if you watch race one, had seth pushed harder earlier he would have been able to mount an attack, he was catching jp at a radical rate of knots, its strategy,

I'm not sure either to be frank, depends if mom and sister go to the pool... I don't commentate when people are home... Itd get weird...

I'll tell you what guys ... I am busy working on getting a wired connection, hopefully sorted out by the weekend. If I have to then I'll run my current setup until the wired setup is sorted. BUT ... if I have to run wireless this weekend, I don't want any BS and just bear with me till I'm sorted ... agreed?

Yes, I have now given it a gander. Wired connections are excellent! I got a new modem today... And the guy changed some dials and stuff... Hopefully I'm golden! And you too!

And I agree, ragging on someone for something they (for the most part) can't control isn't cool.

Cnd, would that depict a penalty?
