What program do you use? where do you get your pictures? Long does the avergae one take?

I think people wanna know. I think everyone knew how i did it.

Adobe Photoshop 5.5/Ulead PhotoImpact 6.0/Ulead GIF Animator/Ulead Cool3D
But I'm always trying new programs.

Pics are all from Gran Turismo 3 :D

And the average one takes me a long time.. cuz they're *never* right (in my eyes) ;)

Maybe thats why all of your are better...:D Any thing I can download free to blend pictures in like you do your cars in your wallpapers? I'm saving my money for my truck....

SmokeAlot does do a great job. He is great at this stuff. So are you BMW. Your stuff looks great.

I use Macromedia Fireworks 4 (legally) for GTPlanet's graphics. Most other graphic developers would agree it's the best in the business, with the exception of Macromedia's Freehand 10 (depending on what you're doing).

I also use Fireworks version 2 though and Fireworks 4 Legally. Why, because my job paid for the programs. :D

ATI TV-Wonder.. they retail for around $89CDN (I think)
It's kinda crappy resolution though.. 320x240 for normal 4:3 viewing.. but it looks alright :)

this stuff amazes me... I would love to learn how to do all this stuff... just to make your own avatar, this graphics stuff is probably on of the last thing I truely don't know how to even start on a computer... I need to look into a graphics class at school. I am almost jealous of you people!!!

Photoshop 4 :), CorelDRAW 9 (Like Macromedia Freehand but I thinks it's way better!, Ulead GIF Animator 4.

It takes practise to make avatars....if you use Photoshop you'll get lost in it like I did when I was 9.....I'm 13 now so I know it quite well after magazines, tutorials, 500 page unofficial colour mannuals efc etc.

making wallpaper is easy, just resize it to whatever your desktop is. if you've got it set for 800x600 that's what you resize it to. Use IrfanView, it's free

(Photoshop 6. I don't use photos. I make them all freehand.)

Damn, if your serious, that's pretty good!
I'm going to start using the PS 6.0 I just got to make sequence avatars... anyone have any expertise on using PS for animations? Klos?

I didn't say my wallpapers were any good. I just make minimalistic papers as I hate having a messy desktop.

You can't make animations with Photoshop. You can make the individual images then export them to a gif animator like Ulead's.
