I had fun for a while. I need to find my headset though. I found a guy on craigslist selling one for $10, so I might just get that.
 
I already got an M3 with the titanium exhaust and a pretty tuned eunos roadster. Can't wait to play with you people online with the M3

Sorry to piggyback on your post but I'm unable to make a new thread. I used to cruise in forza and was hoping to do the same with gt5. Been playing on it abit with various cars and its awesome! the wangan idea is brilliant however if people want to just chill out for a car meet, some drags etc then please add me online with a short message.

A few ideas are:

Japanese cruise
Evo owners club
Nissan only
etc etc any ideas are welcome.

P.S Here is a video of my skyline r34 with 700+bhp notice the exhaust changes when you put performance parts on. Also it has the body-kit and bbs wheels.

Is there a certain time you guys meet at? I haven't raced online yet so I don't know how that all works yet. I am already tuning a few cars for the wangan though.
 
Usually later at night. I'd say between 9 and 11. I make my rooms with the title GTP Wangan.

I ran my Silvia a few times last night. I got destroyed, haha. I think as things get more under control online, we should be able to have better matchups. Last night it was my little Silvia with ~220 hp running against some monsters. It would be much more fun with closer matches. We should set up an official time that we can all meet in the same room(s) depending on how many people are interested. I think we should make the time Wednesday Evenings at 11:00 PM EST. If we can get 16 people signed up, all who know what we are doing, and we could all log into the GTP chat feature to be able to communicate a little better (or if we all have headsets), it would be a lot of fun.

I'll be running once a night most likely. I love having fun with this game!
 
I'll probably run more than once a week, but I plan to spend most of my time for now working my way through career mode. I also want to try some circuit racing with other GTP members, or at least people who are worth racing. I hope they add a feature under restrictions as far as hp, $$$ spent on car, etc.

I'm already to race. Got my 300ZX up to 500+ horses but the stupid car won't go over 194 MPH can anybody help me with that?
 
We also received a lot of demands for having more regulations placed on the online play. We're going to perform an update on the 27th that will include things like max power restrictions and weight restrictions. It's like a living creature, dynamically growing as we speak.

i'll be in this.

although i think we need to match cars performance wise. not just anyone who is in the lobby races anyone. there needs to be some sort of levelling out.

we need some sort of performance rules (PP etc) to be applied. otherwise we will just get fully tuned skylines running against each other or supras. then the guy in the nicely tuned MKV golf, doesnt stand a chance.
