She'll get up to 220ish on her own, but with some drafting I can go 230ish.

With the stock gears, which I can't really change, she pulls up to 7th gear, when it falls on its face. With gear tuning I know it would be way better.

220!!??! wooowww... my 300zx goes like 211 my her self but I haven't played online so i don't know how fast in drafting.

It's a slow climb to that MPH. Like I said, 7th is a dog. around 200 is the top of 6th. Should be a video coming soon of me vs schnitzel.
 
I'll be able to join you guys tomorrow. I'm busy working on a few projects at the moment. :lol: Plus my Wangan weapon will be ready soon enough. ;)

Yup. The only restrictions on unlimited races, your car must run Sports: Soft, usually limited by the host, and production cars only. No race cars.

Also host will turn off TCS, ASM, and all other aids.

Getting to 211 is slow for me as well even if i have a custom trans. And I'll be sure to watch the video good luck on the race 👍

This isn't even my official "wangan" car. Just something I threw together until I find my ride in the used car lot.

That was my SZ-R. It's bone stock, all I did was overhaul the engine, then realize you can't put a turbo on the N/A model. :nervous:
 
Notice to all new comers:

On your first go at this, please stay in the back and get a feel for how we do things. This will make a memorable experience for all of us. I've notice some premature ramming and stopping middle of the course that has caused a few problems.

Just trying to keep things fair and enjoyable for everyone.
 
Eh, I understand. I'll stay back. But no worries, I have already done wangan regularly in other games. :)

Mainly to get a hang off all the curves and what not on the wangan, because at first it's hard to accurately manage your speeds, even a slight bend may have you slamming into the barriers,or others at high speed. We have all been there :dopey:

Don't worry about top speed that much. It's how you get to top speed. Some cars pull so hard from a slow MPH, the jump they give themselves proves to hold of the competition to the end. 👍
 
I'm hosting now.

This time I'm thinking do a variety of runs and mix the cars up a bit. Japan only, Under 200bhp, under 500bhp, no limits etc.

It managed to hold steady at 202. I really liked that about it, If I somehow manage to keep it steady while going a little faster, I'll be a happy man. :)
 
I'm in. Just woke up after a lengthy night. Hehe.

EDIT: Let me do the Sports Truck races really quick first. I wanna give artic his F150 Lightning back.

Bringing a fully tuned Soarer next time.. My R35 at the moment pulls almost too hard, rockets away from start all the way up to 370km/h. Awesome car none the less.
 
Hold on to the Lightning for now, no rush. I don't need it back until I start on B-Spec stuff.
