+ 1

Speaking of +1 he could've at least uncapped the 20mil limit.

Im happy that PD is adressing the issues that are being exploited by the SB generation.

Hopefully they will also find ways to stop duping. GT5 should be played by those who love cars and driving, not SB´s who just want a quick fix before they move on to ruin the next game.

Funny enough, the reason why many people were duping is so they could enjoy driving their favorite cars without having to put up with this game's horrible design in order to get them.

And duping ruined the game for you how?

I reakon Kaz capped the trading limit because someone did a bad trade with him. So he released the 1.07 update, with fury, in the heat of the moment.

What is the SB generation?

It would really make sense if they made ban of trading all cars over 5 mil but now its screwed

Still doesn't make sense to me. I dislike it when people make up acronyms. Just spell it out for us less intelligent beings.

You said it,mate. With all these c**p updates I am actually crediting myself with lower IQs in here.:dunce:

I'm pretty sure he meant something like this judging by his post. From Urban Dictionary:

SB
SB (Small Boto)- a person who cant do work and forwards messages.

100% agreed, i'm so mad right now. I really want a 20m Ferrari and the 20m Ford. so far i'm up to 19m and its taken so long to get here. I refuse to grind. A game that i paid for is supposed to be fun to play and grinding is no fun at all. How am i ever going to get the cars i want and have paid for in buying the game? PD you really dont have a clue do you. If this 1m trading thing is nt lifted i'll be leaving this game series for good. This is the last straw for me.

since my previous post got moderated, I just want to say that I am not happy with the current system. now I'm off to strap a rubber band to my controller and run indy another 100 times.

1.06 good update
1.07 bad update :(

What he giveth with one hand he taketh away with the other.

The credit cap in GT5 should have been taken away, not another one added.

Nice to know that others know how everyone should play the game. I would think PD would want the most people possible to be happy with this so they would rave about it and create more sales. I don't dupe but have nothing against it as I trade all the time to get cars I want without spending 24 hours driving circles around stupid Indy. I don't see how duping or trading hurts anyone else's experience.

My thoughts exactly. I don't dupe, and I'm actually sort of glad that others do/did dupe, because now I have some decent cars that I didn't have to spend my free time grinding for.

Hey Kaz, when I handed over £50 it should allow me to play the game how I want! If I want to run a couple of accounts to try and obtain the cars I want to use then that is down to my freedom of choice.

The price limit thing I could live with but the single trade per PS3 thing screams of someone with a slapped arse!

Only the Japanese could come up with this sick joke...play the same event over and over to obtain sufficient credits to buy the car you want in the UCD's only for it to rotate out of reach anyway. At least a couple of accounts (I did the events on to earn cash) gave more of a chance to get some new interesting stuff!

Yes, duping probably got out of control in certain quarters but that is the gamers choice...if you don't like it, don't do it...didn't realise PD and Sony were Big Brother. In any case these cars are bloody worthless, they are digital representations and absolutely worthless in the REAL world where most of us reside going to work, paying the mortgage and raising kids! Not sitting in front of a bloody PS3 all hours grinding out events or using a rubber band...get a grip.

Who cares if people on here got upset that the car they earned (grinded for) was worthless due to duping...doesn't matter how you got it...it is still worthless in the real world...you did get the satisfaction of 'earning' it however, something I wanted to do with the X1 for example. Could have one gifted to me but turned it down.

Rant ends!

Is it just me or does this all just seem wrong that after we buy the game he takes away the fun part of the game? I bought GT5 so that I could collect mainly so that i could collect 1000+ cars and now it seems highly unlikely that I can. Can any game really be allowed to do such a major change to gameplay without consent or fair warning?

in my opinion it would not be possible to buy all the cars to test drive and live a REALl life outside of a PS3 which is a Games machine for recreation, not a lesson in life skills...and the great Kaz decreed that thou shall not cheat, dupe or anything else that ruins my vision of how the GAME should be experienced!

Loosen up and let everyone enjoy the cars you spent six years modelling!

Oh and if we are going to boycott, don't boycott this one as the money is already in the bank, boycott GT6

Oh my god! They did what?

Boohoo and waaa waaa!

So I can't dupe a Ferrari F1 and give it to 10 friends from one of my nine accounts?

But today I was going to sell some of my exclusive content on eBay.

Then I'm going to put a rubber band on the end of my........... controller to earn 3.5billion over night that's capped at 20million.

Tomorrows my 49th birthday this year!

Stop crying and play the game. If you can't now then give your game away and return to Mario Carts.

It's a game!
