It'll be a while before I get to tier 3 tanks, unless I end up playing a ton of ground battles with a squad that want to play. Once I get the tier 2 Russians finished researching, I'm moving on to tier 2 airplanes for each nation.

The Voroshilov can be a real troll tank if used properly, thanks to the armor. The L-11 cannon, however, doesn't bite so good.

If it's anything like the T34 1941, it'll be very fun. Conveniently finished off the upgrades for that T34 as I unlocked the KV-1 so it got replaced instantly as it was sitting in the slot with 200+ crew points compared to the other empty slot I had with around 10..

One match with that T34 yesterday, it took a barrage of 4-5 AA vehicles, a StuG, a panzer and 3 planes to destroy me. In the process I took out everything but the planes and the StuG. :D

Last night I had a game in the Jagdpanzer. It took about 10 arty barrages, 2 KV-1s, a PZ IV F1 and F2, a Chaffee, and one other tank to kill me and a M4A3 Sherman holding the line.
 
Tanks have been burning immediately on me. Even in the split second it takes to react to hit the extinguishers.. the tank still burns down.

Edit: KV-1 is turning out to be not fun at all. Getting completely destroyed by Shermans and Panzers in 2-3 shots.

The "escorting Sturmoviks" mission has returned. After seeing Squireflyer's video on this "unfair event" I wanted to give it a go.

That is the most one-sided affair I've ever seen. :lol:

I have won playing Russians about 3 times before.

Arcade duel. No limitations. Fight over four points, anything goes.

At one point, there was a B17.

The guy with the most kills was on the opposite team in a Chaika. 63 kills...

The one with the F-84 was a custom battle that included GF. The map with the town in the middle and you fight over three flags.
 
I was flying the Avenger with the default 4x500lb bombs. If it wasn't the last plane, I wouldn't have done it.

Edit: Was flying the Beaufighter, got ran into by a p36. Guy blamed me for it even though he had more agility than I did and he flew up into my wing giving me no time to evade. Then he said it cost us the game... as we won... Some people just can't admit fault.

You would be surprised what the Beaufighter can do. It is only slightly worse than a Yak on the agility scale.
 
Might be my controls. They're a bit stiff and sluggish.

But, when a plane comes up into my sight without any warning and goes through my wingtip, it doesn't give me any time to react.
