Since this game is free, I was thinking of downloading it.

What do you guys like/dislike about the game?
 
Like: Tanks, somewhat easy to go through the ranks, you could buy things but it isn't really necessary.

Dislike: Planes, matchmaking/br is messed up at the moment, easy to get one shot if you don't pay attention.

All in all it's a great game. Just watch some Youtube videos on what and what not to do before you jump straight into the action.

Likes: The variety of vehicle/planes, and the terrains, as the physics and stuff..

Dislikes: Poor Matchmaking, Gold Eagles eventually become a thing to level up easier you're tiers... buh bye moneh. Kind of get boring after a bit. And some op tanks lol.

From what I could hear, one country has planes that are practically untouchable.

I know there were a lot of (American) commenters on a forum site complaining that the American planes weren't powerful enough. From my small recollection of the World Wars, it was Germany that had air supremacy for the majority of the wars, correct?
 
Yes, but Russian developer means Russian planes/tanks too strong.

The game reall is more enjoyable with a squad. Even when the team is bad, a squad can still perform great. Then you also get the moments where you have to tow a squad member when their tank gets damaged. Rage towed me last night and as you can see in the screenshot, I towed TheKitten until a bomber got us. Just have to be careful with the placement of the tow rope because it can flip a tank over easily.

I think, there is no superior nation, but there are some overbuffed planes in every nation - e.g. F8 Bearcat, F7F Tigercat, Spitfires, FW-190D, Yak 3-9 fighters (that are made of "stalinwood"), etc.

Soviet planes are the most multipurpose and offer the widest choice of tactics for each type of opponent, but they require some skill, while American 'crafts are the easiest for novice players to master.

Regarding the tanks, IMO, Germans are stronger on tier 3, but on 4 and higher, Soviets have the advantage. Especially the T-44 with its armor.

AFAIK, in the beginning of WWII - yes, but in '44 and later, Allies had the upper hand (both on Western and Eastern Fronts).

I towed you down the hill to get you closer to the possible enemy location as quickly as possible. Did it hurt? :D

It took out my turret. :lol: Not exactly sure how that happened though. Didn't encounter any enemies so it's all good.

When you were towing me I was 90% flipped over getting draged, with my turret in the ground... No damage though :lol:

Well, it was down a hill.

Once I saw that you were rolling back over, I let go of the cable so I could reattach in a better spot. Then I dragged us to our untimely deaths. :lol:

I'm surprised i could steer although my driver was well dead... :lol:, and i saw that death coming... 2 Bombing Runs by 2 different people. Gosh :lol:
 
Yeah, I wasn't able to steer all that well when @Rage Racer was pulling me, but my transmission was shot out, plus having to deal with braking and turning on the same stick probably doesn't help much either. I even noticed that I had to use the throttle to get my tank rolling even when he was pulling me along.

I remember coming from the spawn in my PZ IV F2, after I killed a T-34, and saw this was happening. I pulled up beside and started typing in chat. Next thing I know I hear bombs being dropped. I thought to myself "this is the end".
 
Strange. I was in a random game with some one named BaronVon something. Can't remember the last portion of his name.

In other news, I have acquired the Jagdpanzer IV. Next tank: the Panzer IV G.
