So they are adding the Calliope...

Should be able to at least break the vertical aiming of that rocket structure if it's possible to destroy the structure connecting it to the gun barrel.

Well, I give the devs bonus points for innovation, that's for sure. One can only wonder when will Gaijin add their own country's missile vehicles. (the Katyuusha springs to mind, of course) Also, I love this bit:

This vehicle would be a simple sherman if there wasn’t a multi rocket system installed on the turret.

Oh yeah, it would be just a normal tank, if it wasn't for the fact that it has a god forsaken rocket launcher system strapped to it, funny guys.

It definitely sets them up to add the Katyuusha and the Panzerwerfer. Hopefully it will be fun to werf panzers. :sly:

It will a different layer to the way you can play with tanks, of course. Imagine picking a far away spot, and then pelt enemy tanks with a barrage of rockets to the mug... New strategies ahoy!

Trans-Atlantic Rocket Party.. TARP.. OMG!

Well, the truck version of Katyusha would be too vulnerable and less interesting... I guess we'll have something like this (BM-8-24 on T-60 chassis).

So I think the new update came out today. I'll look into it when I get home from school today though.

Do you want to play when I get home? (that's about 2:30 PM EST)

Er... that's 7:30 AM on my side of things. That won't work, I'm afraid.

Edit: No wait, I made a blunder, I put AM instead of PM on my time converter. It's actually 19:30 in my local time. Well, it's quite close to my dinner time, but I can work out a few games, pause to have dinner, and then play some more. How's that sound?

I like the new update. The nametags on vehicles have changed, but they look cleaner now. The entire game looks more crisp.

Wellington still gets rekt though.

That's good to hear, a few little things have changed about the game's HUD; for example, the FPS counter. It has changed places, as it now stands on the bottom left corner of the screen. Sadly, it has lost its colour-shifting ability in the process.

They even changed the killfeed. Instead of "______ shot down by ______" it's now the opposite of that and now the normal killfeed read out like every other game has with "____ shot down _____".

Sorry about that, just got home from school. Anyway that will be fine. I just need to do a few things then I'll be on.

Gaijin has simplified most of the things about the HUD, huh? As for the new units, I don't have any of them, but I really dig the new Premium Sherman (too bad it's Premium) and the M18.

It's okay, I made a mistake with the time anyways. You do your things, and then shout when you're ready.

Hey Niku get on skype.

I quite like the new update.

How long have you all played WT? My steam says I have put 755 hours into the game.

Have had it on my PS4 since it released for North American PSN. Have played it daily since late October. Not sure how many hours though.

That new battle trophy system is nice. Just got an upgrade for the Wellington I am currently flying to grind out the lower tiered FAA planes.

Haven't touched ground vehicles yet with the new update. Looking forward to seeing the new maps.

Well, Normandy is a fun map, plenty of city skirmishes can be had there. We've also played a game in Berlin (by "we" I mean me and Durwinning), and that was interesting as well. Berlin is quite foggy, but also quite close-ranged. Not much chances to go out without being in range of something dangerous...

Looks like low-tier Russians are getting dominated in air battles now. Either they forgot how to fight or something got screwy.
