· What Spyware is in the Original KaZaA?
The latest incarnation of KaZaA Media Desktop (V1.6) includes two bits of software that are commonly regarded as Spyware: CyDoor and the Brilliant Digital 3D Projector (sometimes referred to as B3D or BDE)
KaZaA Lite contains none of this, but be aware that it will not uninstall Spyware that is already on your system. See the question on removing Spyware below.

· What is the best way to remove Spyware?
To get rid of any Spyware you may have on your PC (including some you probably didn't know about!) the best tool to use is Ad-Aware, from Lavasoft. Ad-Aware will search your memory, registry and hard drive for any Spyware or Adware it knows about and offer to delete it. It is updated regularly with any newfound software. Not only will it remove Spyware components, but it will clean their settings out of your registry and also delete any cookies set by advert banners on websites.
Ad-Aware is capable of removing both CyDoor and BDE (the Spyware included with the Original KaZaA). Be careful that it does not remove the special dummy version of CyDoor installed by KaZaA Lite though, as it will stop KaZaA Lite from working.

I already have Ad-Aware and it works fine. The more you use it, the less junkmail you will get.

I tried WinMX. Unfortunately, it caused my ancient PC to run very poorly and crash or freeze a lot.
