I just saw it on CNN that washington has 1 case of mad cow. So now it's canada's turn to **** over the states by locking there meat out of our country. Maybe this will teach them to lock our meat out for so long.

Fox News has the news conference on now. The stupid women who can't speak clearly states that the human danger is extremely minimal and it is not terror related at all. So why is she talking?! The media is going to blow this out of proportion.

The media likes to do that. Whene Canada got the Mad Cow (only one cow) the media treated it as if entire ranches were getting wiped out by an "epidemic". Same goes for that sars crap. The Canadian media treated it as if it was the return of the black plague, even though there's a 97% chance of survival.

My 92 year-old Grandma has a pair of glasses like yours Monster7.

Cases of Mad Cow Disease have been reported before, here in the US. But something is different about the affects of the US version compared to the UK version, so nobody has really said definitely that it was a US version of Mad Cow Disease. I remember seeing a story about a woman who claimed she had MCD and was suing the beef industry, but I haven't heard anything more about it. The story just disappeared.

That's not going to happen. It would be like a case of Mad Cow in France spreading to Scandinavia (geographically speaking). But unfortunately since people are very uninformed, the cattle farmers of Texas WILL be hurt by this, even though it's happening about a thousand miles away.

Block meat supply off from U.S to Canada, for a couple months, force them to slaughter herds of cows before even thinking of opening the borders back up, and see how they like it.

A bunch of counry's have now blocked U.S meat now. But of course canada is going to help them and that pisses me off. They screwed us around when we had our 1 case so i think we should close our boarders to them and not help them at all.

according to CNN:

Investigators have matched the cow's ear tag to a Canadian herd investigators hope to use the stricken cow's DNA samples to confirm their preliminary determination that the animal entered the United States from the Canadian province of Alberta in 2001 with a herd of 81 cows.

anyway the cow was born before the ban on cow feed so who cares.
