Try no aids, No TCS, No ABS, No Stability Control etc on Racing Hards. Try that. Not the Redbull's but the Formula Gran Turismo.

Agree wholeheartedly here. If you find the FGT easy to drive with all the driving aids off, you are either very good or you're not going fast enough. That said, it's a lot easier with GT6's physics because it is so much more predictable. GT4 it felt strange and GT5 it would randomly jump between snap oversteer and horrific understeer.

There's 3 things that will hold this car back from being fun:

1 - shift logic from the h-pattern. I'm sure a lot of people (including myself) that will want to drive the car this way and GT's horrible mis-shifts will kill the fun after it happens a few times.

2 - Camber still broken. It's a 🤬 show trying to dial in setups with no telemetry, and broken camber means unrealistic setups.

3 - Off throttle hang. I noticed this is GT5 and it's still there in GT6. The FGT and other high downforce cars actually Apply throttle in fast sweepers when you let off the throttle. In GT5 you could actually watch the throttle bar go up on its own (and I actually thought my wheel was broken for a while).

Try it, go to Spa, and while you're going through a fast sweeper let off and turn in a little sharper. You can actually hear the throttle "hanging" but in GT6 the throttle bar doesn't go up anymore but you can still hear happening.

If this car acts the same it might as well never be put in the game.

This.. And not properly mapped boost. :\. When the boost comes on.

Is camber really still broken?

It accurately displays camber roll/gain in corners when you have negative camber installed on your suspension, why wouldn't it work?

Go to 16:55

It's a glitch and it works for every car set your camber to 0.0 and you get better grip and tyre wear rate it's been like this since the game was realeased.
I'm hoping they make some sort of bug fix to allow us to really enjoy the upcoming senna content

The fgt's in gt6 are by far the worst car to drive even when you have a setup on the car the tyres last no more than 7-10 laps and take in to account the pitstop tyre bug the car can become almost undriveable on some tracks.
Turn tire wear off, problem solved.

Avoid problems be removing features seems to have been the thing with GT6.

It has always worked visually.

It has never provided the physical effects that one would expect camber to provide, such as increased grip in corners.

I don't really care for a single new car. Let's hope there will be something more than that

Pretty sure the 97T isn't the only thing in this update. No idea why people keep thinking this is the only thing thats it when its merely one of the many things in it.

You don't know that.

So you honestly think this is it? I doubt it is, even though this is PD I seriously doubt that is the only thing we're getting.

I am as sure that a car and a few time trials is all we getting as you are sure that we are getting more. As you said, this is PD we are talking about.

That's more faith you seem to have then most do (even if its not by much).

I'm not saying we'll get a lot, I just doubt one car is it.

This addition surely is a nice tribute but it saddens me that pretty much every car they've added have no obvious counterparts in the game.

I hope the car has identical specs to Senna's real F1, i really intend to compare my lap times with Senna's in GT6.

That would be fun indeed. Too bad that there are only two tracks in the game that were on the 1986 schedule, which haven't been changed significantly over the years: Brands Hatch and Monaco. And Monaco isn't an exact copy of the real track unfortunately :(

You are forgetting monza witch has had minimal changes
Thou I can't wait to get my hand on the lotus and attack Suzuka and spa

GT physics do not truly represent real life, so lap times really aren't comparable anyway. Secondly none of the circuits modelled in GT6 are in the identical configuration to any track Senna raced at.

The first chicane changed completely.

Curva Grande has also been slightly reprofiled, and Lesmo 2 has been tightened.

Nor can you perfectly replicate the same tarmac level of grip, the track conditions, the ambient conditions, the tyre grip and so on. As has been said hundreds of times, comparing real times to video games is pointless. Far too many variables.

In my view, I think that the main content will be like that:
-Lotus 97T
-McLaren MP4/4 (maybe, depends on licenses...)
-Toleman TG183B/TG184 (maybe, same reasons...)
-The British Formula 3 car he drove in 1983 (maybe, also same reasons...)
-Interlagos (Kart track and F1 circuit)

If PD has a surprise for us (which I doubt this...) we can wait also:
-Imola Circuit (the track where he had his fatal accident)
-Autodromo Estoril (the track where he took his first pole position & win with the Lotus 97T)
-Adelaide Street Circuit (if you remember, PD promised a second Australian track for GT6, so.....)

I'm 100% sure that we will not see his Williams FW16, because the license belongs to Codemasters for the F1 2013...:grumpy:
