Edit: Toyota 86 DLC CONFIRMED HERE!

This is a pending interest thread for a weekday Toyota 86 spec racing series. The car will be available to us on or around the 20th of this month.

Race times would be Tuesdays and Thursdays around 9pm EST.

Cars will be run 100% factory stock, with only wheel changes and non-adjustable aero bits allowed!

More info to come, including racing specs. I just wanted to be the first to jump at this! :dopey:

Post below if you're interested!

Just watched the video in the news section, the car looks sweet. I would be interested :) , is the time not quite close to miata's race time ?

This would start after the Miata season is over. Unfortunately Season 4 of FMSC would get pushed back by a few weeks.....or I can find a way to run the schedules around each other. Not sure yet.

Already at it?! Wow, you are quick RT. Count me in, if the car is released.

Depends how the car drives. If it makes me want to break the tv you can forget it

Sounds neat, don't we already have the concept of this? I think it's a pretty decent drive,I would "vote" to push back Season 4 of FMSC rather then try to do both at once, for scheduling purposes.

( I already have Pure and WSGTC coming up, FMSC/This makes 3, I doubt I can really do 4 at once.:dopey:

True, plus I'm not sure I want to run both at the same time with the Hard Dog Challenge in there as well. FMSC may get pushed back, no big deal.

I'm in!!!!!! This is exactly what I had in mind. I wonder if it will be race modifiable. An RM version wasn't in the trailer, so probably not.

Edit:
It is my preference as well to push back the next FMSC instead of running this proposed series parallel to it.

^ more likely we'll get 3 new GT-R's lol, but yeah 3 versions would be cool.

well all the specs point to it being a fixed-roof mx-5, so of course i'd be in.

I would be interested, I would think that car is pretty good in stock form. Only thing, any thoughts on maybe running a Division on a weeknight?? I dont know about everyone else, but Sundays can be tough for me to make on a consistent basis.

I never even consider running a weekday series because I don't get home until 7pm PST. By the time I got settled, eat dinner and get things started it would be at least 8pm here.

Im up for it as the concept handles quite nice but one question is that pic a GT300 car? As this would fit perfectly into WSGTC as the 10th GT300 car :D
("IF" it were released :sly:)

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES
YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES

Final a "cool" Toyota (in the 2000s)
Thought I like the Subaru better (nicer on the eyes and 200hp)

Sign me up.

Just so you know, RT, I'm pretty much ready to post the OP for my new RX-7 series, and I was planning on having it on Sundays at 4 as well. :/

:nervous:
