I'm also interested in the GT300. I wanted the Cusco since I'm a Subaru guy, but I can get a different one so we have variety. What's another GT300 that's premium?

The best GT500 time was a 1:55.346 last night posted by Choate61 in Xanavi Nismo I believe. By the way we were running suzuka. During the race the winners were around 2 mins on each lap.

Add about 10 seconds or so for GT300 (maybe less).

By the way, if we do in fact do a Points Race, anyone can compete on a week to week basis. IE you dont have to attend every race.

I don't really do the trading bit, but if this gets big enough I might throw in some incentive for race wins and the series podium.

Yes and a good GT300 car is the Autobacs Arta Garayia but feel free to drive whatever you like. There arent many Gt300 cars so there's gonna be some repitition.

Most of the ones I found in the New Dealer lot were 500's, I found one besides the Subaru that was 300 but now I forget what it was. I'm still kinda holding off on buying one until we see what the balance of 300's to 500's is. If there are already more 500's I'll buy a 300 to balance things out, and vice versa. I saw some JGTC cars in the UCD but I prefer to buy a premium model if possible, I don't always use the cockpit view but I want it as an option.

There are 4 premium GT300 cars that I know of:

Autobacs Arta Garaiya '08
Lexus Weds Sports IS350 '08
RE Amemiya Asparadrink RX7 '06
Suburu Cusco Dunlop Impreza '08

Standard Cars that I could find were:

C-WEST RAZO SILVIA (JGTC) '01
SUPERAUTOBACS APEX MR-S (JGTC) '00
WEDSSPORT CELICA (JGTC) '03
ARTA Garaiya (JGTC) '03
CUSCO SUBARU ADVAN IMPREZA (JGTC) '03

Thanks! I have the Lexus car that can run in the DTM, so maybe I'll get the Lexus Super GT too. Never thought I'd have two Lexus Race Cars in my garage! lol

Do we maybe need another pole to find out how many people will be running 300's and how many will be running 500's?

Hey I had some fun racing with you guys a couple nights ago (even though I got spanked). It was a cool racing group and i'm looking forward to racing with you guys again.
 
I'm going to go for a GT300, I've kinda always wanted to be in a multi-class race and be in one of the slower class cars. I think fighting for your own position while having to be aware of faster cars coming up behind you, getting out of their way while trying to maintain your track position, sounds like quite fun challenge!

Are there gonna be any lounges open soon? I missed out on the last meet-n-greet race and am looking forward to getting on track with you guys.

Ps, I too, agree that we should run a poll for FIVE (5) days, to see who will be running what class.. :)

I will be opening MY LOUNGE at 8:30 pm EST (GMT-5) Tonight
At this point, I'm thinkin we will do a race series, but obviously anyone can participate at any time they like.

I'm going to try to change the poll, but not sure how :D

I will try to be there for a little while tonight. I usually shut my racing off by 9 or 9:30 so I can unwind a little before bed. I get up early for work, so I can't stay up much past 10 if I want to be productive the next day. I should be able to hang out for a while tonight though, not sure if I'll have enough time for a very long race but should be able to hot lap and shoot the breeze for a little bit.

We'll have to watch out for this Silver-Sylph guy, he's a mad karting expert!! Well, except for that last race. lol :)

You mean how long will the lobby be open? I'll probably keep it open for a few hours. Unlike last time where we only ran 1 race, this time I'm thinking we'll run either 5 or 10 lap races with 10 min breaks in between for "qualifying."

Grid start, false starts on, slowest first. Be advised, we are running on racing softs with most aids off. If someone needs aids, just let us know when you enter the lobby and we'll see if people are ok with it. I will not cave on SRF off tho :D

(as I think, I'll be running primarily GT300 for the series 👍)

For right now, it should just be first come, first serve.. Being that we're just running some hot laps for the time being. Once we see the turnout/commitment of you folks, then yes, I would have to agree that there be two rooms, ONLY if the capacity is exceeds 16 entrants! :D or quite possibly have a 'novice' and a 'pro' group (each, their own lounge).... Who knows?? :D But, we will iron out all of the details, once we get collective ideas/thoughts going, for the aforementioned 👍

Hahaha my bad I'm not on my PS3 right now and when I searched google for car lists I only found the unlockables. Haven't got around to checking out all the new car dealerships yet. Will def do that sometime soon...
 
Last time we didnt have a problem with numbers, if there ends up being a problem, we'll deal with it then :D

Also if you are having problems joining my lounge just keep trying.
