And what do you do when you're losing the fight for the 16th place and the leader laps you? Dive bomb him, no other option.
You finish that race with your head held high and GET A BETTER CAR...
The Audi RS5 DTM properly tuned will do the ten laps with no stopping. It's in same class as AI cars so its not cheating...

Others already said it: The one-make is pure fun this time! Alone the engine sound is awesome in this race. Had to go back to normal difficulty, as those AI bastards are pretty fast, though. CRB, at least:

Fantastic photo....👌👌👌

usually I try to use underpowered stuff and that can take a few attempts to get right which can be a lot of fun.
This! ☝️

To get the best racing out of the old AI choosing a stock or underpowered car is the way to go IMO. Yes the AI doesn't care about your existence on the track for some of the corners but this makes them all the more predictable.
After a few tries in a less than adequate vehicle you can anticipate and predict the AI movements and adjust accordingly.

You learn this pretty quick in the Tokyo 600 grind. The purple dive-bomber NSX is a good example.

There is also the quirk of when you pass most AI drivers they kinda give up and don't chase you down. It's been like this since GT1.

Had to take my FTO LM Edition inspired livery out for the race at Suzuka in anticipation for the return of the FTO in Spec III.
