Feeling much better these days and thus I put some effort into this week's races.

In the Hyundai 2025, had to pit at end of 6 for petrol, the Jaguar pitted at end of 7 and i caught and passed in final lap. All I did was strip all decals off and repainted then re-applied the race number.

I see that the Grey fin blended in with guardrails in background and made car look different

I just did the weekly on an alt account and realized that I have passed the point of not caring about the CRB mainly because I happen to have more credits now and it's just not that important...

I went with a stock GAC Maverick straight off the showroom floor for the race at Mount Panorama. Another ice rink vehicle that requires some careful throttle control. It makes the Ferrari's seem tame in comparison.

This week’s challenges lived up to the name. My EV challenge on the main account was used in the Sunday Cup race with the i3, which I believe is the slowest one in the game. I thought about using the Ioniq5 N, but the i3 is in the same realm as the competition.

The GT40 wasn’t a match for Serrano’s C8, but it was an enjoyable run.

The Mach Forty was a new drive for me, and more than a match for Serrano. He might have had a bit of help going off at the chase, but I had to.

Instead of moping around waiting for my T598 to be fixed, I just continued with my runs.

Done in a PS5 controller with Motion Control steering.

Hard difficulty as usual.

I reckon it will hit 2:49s with the T598...

I started on the WC on Friday. I used Hyundai VGT at Saint Croix. I was able to get 4 laps before stopping for a recharge. The good thing is I didn't have to change tires.

Next I used the a swapped Escort tuned to 700pp. his race made me kind of upset. I wasn't as far as the Vettes and Vipers but I could handle way better. I took the lead on lap 4 and I got up to a 3 second lead on the C8. My nose started itching so I paused to the game to scratch my nose, when I started back the game back since I paused in the middle of a turn ( I know very dumb but I wasn't thinking) so of course I smashed into the wall and just as I got turned around the C8 blows by me. I try to catch up to him and I got close and ending up losing by about a second. I was so mad at myself I forgot to take a pic.

Anyway I enjoyed the one make at CGV. I am starting to get use to that track and I am really starting enjoy that track.

Next I chose the Tuscan Speed Six for the next race. This was the first Speed Six I bought and I think it as the best tune out of all of them. I wish I could copy that tune to all of the rest of the Speed Sixes I have.

For the last race I used the Corvette VGT to smash this race

I got the Mission X from the 6 star ticket

Lapping Serrano ! The ultimate punishment !

Didn't take much more than a minute before I had bought a Tomahawk S. Adrenaline Red. Slapped on RS compound, did some minor tweaks and went to work. First time drive. What a monster. 5 laps of high speed pursuit. At Mt. Panorama. You all know me by now so I don't need to say I wanted to do it cleanly, staying away from cars, staying away from walls even more. And after about an hour I actually got there - there's been one minor touch while lapping a group of cars but I still got the bonus rewarded.

In before PD introduces an update that destroys your PP builds.

Also, when PD add race cars after the road variant, it destroys your will to then have to recreate those liveries for the race car.

If they add road and race cars like they did with the Ferraris, it could save players lots of headache.

St. Croix is high on my list of least-favourite tracks in the game - the last 30-40s of the lap are just horrible, and the Gr.1 event in particular just doesn't sit well with me.

Still, thankfully passing the event doesn't require a win, so P3 is good enough for me for now.

Sunday Cup as usual with my Madza, but only got 2nd at 380pp:

Don't know, but I don't like that Hunday, it does not drive as I would like, my tune isn't probably very good, and maybe nearly 700pp is just too much:

Yet another 2nd position at American Clubman. Tried my tuned Ford Escort for the first time - weird thing to drive. The leader in his C8 was almost 20 secs ahead of me while P3 was 20 secs behind me - another example of how unbalanced some of the events just are in gt7:

At least the last race was fun. I wanted to go "truely Gr.1", and the track suits the Tomahawk Gr.1 well IMHO:

Got a R.S. 01 which is by far not the highest possible reward but o.k. because I like that car and didn't have it yet.

Ok this could be my most crazy challenge yet.

Sainte-Croix Gr.1 Prototype Series in a completely stock F3500-A.

No pit
No fuel mixture changes
No ABS
No TCS
No Assists
No tire changes (Racing Hard)
No HUD

It's a brain breaking strategy race trying to stay fast without running out of fuel. You can use slipstream to keep up and overtake the other cars but if you use too much you burn too much fuel.

You gotta short-shift everywhere but still carrying as much speed through the corners as possible.

Took me all week to get 1st with CRB. And I rolled across the line with an empty tank. 🥵

This time, I learned my lesson and didn't do the WTC 800 at Mount Panorama yet XD

Still done using a controller on Hard difficulty. If only my T598 is with me right now...

Do not fret when AI are quick on that race. Most of them use Softs and yet they pit TWICE.

I may actually try this challenge, see if having triple the horsepower offsets the terrible range of GT7's BEVs.

using the ts050 for the 800 pp, the tuscan speed for the hyper and the euro races, the 959 for the sunday cup for some handling car for the willow springs.

My picks for tonight's races, had to put in abit of work for the last one as I have a feeling that default handling was gonna give me Polestar 1 flashbacks so I have built my second ever EV Track machine.

AI must be thankful that I am severely handicapped by the controller.

The AI act as traffic vans in the hill section, wasting your pace and tires.
