I did ... and it was !
Bought the "little bastard" yesterday at the LCD, tuned it to the max ( around 650 PP ) and went racing. And it's been worth every cent for the fun I had. I don't think it's a car for everyone but if you like to be challenged, if you do not just want an easy drive but something different, here you go. @symustafa1996 mentioned it earlier > There's zero downforce so it always feels like it's at the limit, like it can break away at any time and spin. < In addition the car reacts very sensitive to the slightest disturbance on track for being that lightweight, for the tiny wheels etc. and yet being quite fast. If you have the feel you're stable and safe think twice because it's walking on thin ice, always. She wants to be treated gently and considerate all the time. I love it !
Btw if you're able to reach the finish line without accident she's almost a safe win at the current Porsche Cup Weekly Challenge.

As per usual, here's my weekly challenge vehicle choices (and once again done on hard AI with PSVR2) and this time it wasn't as infuriating as last week (which I didn't post for that reason) this week was actually fun for once
Fun week all things considered, which means next week it's going to be hell most likely
- Euro 600 in a highly tuned Mercedes A45 AMG on sport medium tyres - I love this car, easily one of my favourite AMGs since the SLS AMG, a joy to drive even at this performance level too, it just does what you want - and quickly too, managed to get tfirst and stay there by lap 4.
- Sunday Cup classic in a highly modified low-RPM turbo Unimog 350pp build on comfort soft tyres - this car is a joy to drive if unwieldy to its towering seating position, but at least it doesn't make me feel sick like the Urus. Got first place by after the corkscrew on lap 2.
- Civic one make with a 600pp sport hard build of the FK2 model civic - I do like this model year of the civic, but does it struggle at this amount of power on sport hards, my god! Colossal understeery issues galore, but still more than fast enough, got first by halfway in the race. Maybe next time I should run a 550pp build for this one make ifit shows up again...
- Porsche cup using a fully modified Porsche 550 Spyder on sports soft tyres - in my increasingly difficult task to do Porsche events with as many non-911 cars as possible now it is the turn of the 550 which I already liked stock, but at full time it is a wild animal, got first by lap 4. Oh god I'm going to have to try and win this wth the 356 next....
- WTC700 using a race prepped and moderately modified stock turbo KTM X-BOW R - well since we don't have the GT4 this is the next best thing, and it's open cockpit is more preferred for how I like to drive cars in VR so I'm not complaining, relatively fuss free drive, though the first lap or so had to be driven as economically as possible, running fuel map 6 the whole way through, did get first by about lap 5 though andnmanaged to hold it there for the rest of the run, completing 5 wins in a row this week!

Not so sure... admittedly not clean but only three small taps, all of which could have been avoided by taking a different line to not rear end the AI who decided to brake mid corner. The car could also definitely be better optimized for this track but I used what I had lying around. Not my actual weekly run though, that one was done with an R8 V10 but this was an extra attempt to see if it's possible and it certainly is, even on hard difficulty. Two pictures needed to show the PP and the fastest lap.

@CTRL Garage you are my hero of the day for getting the Sambabus up the mountain. How was the VW with tire wear and fuel consumption?
@smoothbore12 I agree with @Greycap 's findings for the "600pp" Deep Forest race. It feels much more winnable in regular 600pp machines than Suzuka. Gallo struggles more to get around slower cars. Sometimes, he even crashes just before the final corner. I assume PD tilted this race in favor of the new Aston. I was using high grip Racing Tire builds with top speeds of ~150mph / 240kph.
@ROCKET JOE I joined clubdeathtrap 550 Spyder over the weekend and experienced all that you mentioned, plus some snap oversteer as a gift for overcorrecting slides. As deadly as the car still is, the loss of traction while turning and accelerating at high speed is much more progressive after the last few updates. The 550 now murmurs a few warnings before it tries to kill me - that I can definitely work with!
The 901 Carrera RS is better too. Much, much more progressive at the limit, and full of old 911 energy.
Hilariously, when I added 4-9kg of ballast to the 550 Spyder, it dropped the PP rating from 650 to ~638pp. I'll need more time to figure out how to make that useful.
As cool as it is, I will never appreciate that the roll-over structure for this car is my driver's skull and spine
To be fair, that's the swapped roadster with 700+hp and a rear wing If you want something even sketchier, drive the swapped couple - that one has no rear downforce.

I finally got the chance to the WC. My hand is still a little bit sore and hopefully the glue can come off today. Anyway I used the W196 at Bathurst. It was a fun drive once I remembered to brake sooner coming out of the long back straight close to the finish line
I really enjoy that car. It handles well and as long as you remember to brake early it pretty stable. Also I have to remember not to mash the gas coming out of the corner. Next I got one of favorites the 604 to Kyoto Park in the Porsche race. The 604 is so easy to drive and I enjoy it whenever I can
So next I took the RCR Garage to Tokyo. I still don't like that track a lot but there are a few corners that remind of SSR5
For the last 2 races I used the Valkryie as I wanted to blitz through those races. I love reverse Deep Forest. I raced on that so much on GT1 although the hairpin does take away from the flow of the track.
Got 500k from the ticket so it wasn't a bad night

I have a couple days off now so I decided to celebrate tomorrow with two different walkthroughs :
The RANDOMIZER'S CHOICE one ( everything pretty much stock )
and the ME BEING LAZY CHOICE one ( everything not so much stock )
To finish with the current challenges I tried two new cars that I had built the past days.
Had very easy wins on the mountain with an engine swapped 700 PP Amuse 380RS, an excellent racer imo. And I had even easier wins at Tokyo Expressway with a 720 PP race spec Civic FK8.

i will use the Bugatti VGT (GR1) for the 800pp, Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R (KPGC110) '73 for both the GTR and the TC races, a Civic Type R (EK) '97 for the FF race

Decent week as 3/5 were quite good fun, last race might be tricky depending on what you drive. FF challenge is at a track I'm not a fan of, used the CX-30 and won pretty easily. I really liked the 205 race, right sort of track for cars of that speed and it was at a lovely time of day. Only thing was all the AI cars are on CM so you can probably beat them with a stock 205, I had a rally tuned one which proved to be much too quick but it was fun to drive. Turbo Sportscars is at Grand Valley which I don't like, even worse in reverse but it's a reasonably easy race, Amuse S2000 was probably overkill but I hadn't driven it for quite a long time. GT-R Cup is easy enough, lot of tuned cars you can run even if it's not the best layout. WTC 800 was quite a close race for me with my tuned '02 NSX Type R, the AI was really fast up front. Portilla and Beauvois both were on RM and pitted every lap but they were more than 10 seconds ahead of everyone else. Thankfully Portilla didn't take tyres on the second stop which helped me close the gap, I ran 2 laps on map 3 then pitted for tyres and fuel and ran the last one on map 1 as the NSX is pretty fuel efficient. Fun race, not sure if you can have rain show up around there as it was completely dry for me.
