Comes with SM so it's quite easy to drive, I'm surprised so many people say it understeers, I think they are just over driving what is still a road going GT car. Only place you'll get genuine understeer is beyond 200 km/h but it doesn't really have much aero so you'd expect that. Outside of this race I even switched it back to SH to make it a bit more realistic grip wise and it's still good to drive. If you're worried about Sainte-Croix then either use the Valkyrie or something you've tuned on RH and you'll not have any issues.
Appreciate your reply mate, thank you, I will 😁

European Sunday Cup 500: Abarth 500. Honestly forget this configuration was here having seen it in Forza Motorsport. Easy
American Clubman Cup 700: Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE. GT4 Build as usual making things easy on the hardest difficulty.
Hypercar Parade: Ferrari FXX K. You know how this usually goes (although on the last lap, that almost wasn't the case)
Gr1 Prototype Championship: Toyota TS050. Quickly reminded why I was so relieved to be done with this race. Normal Difficulty just to get it over with.
Ferrari 812 Superfast One-Make: First race with my 812 tune and while I got it done, that lazy front end and slightly snappy rear end still need work.

You are not alone even in SS you need +400 meters to brake early. Too much power with lout control. It’s not well balanced, it’s a car to cruise around irl no good for track.
Hey Lando, saw you today mate!

European Sunday Cup - I feel like I may have overdone the PP for this race...

@2cam16
After completing the Fuji race, I need to update my post on the LM55. I shouldn't have tried using my poor memory .
I used RM tires and started the race on FM6 and switched to FM5 on lap 3 with short shifting to make it go the 10 laps with no pit stop.
The car has the medium turbo installed. My race had no rain and I took the lead when the lead car pitted on lap 9.

Well, that was easier than expected...

Fuji - Dodge SRT Tomahawk VGT (Gr.1) - I checked the radar before the race and saw that a sliver of rain was approaching, so I decided to start on RMs and lightly save fuel until the rain came. It hit at the end of lap 6. I pitted for IMs, came out in P3. I took the lead when the two cars ahead pitted at the end of lap 8. Easy win for the final ticket.

Well let's see. First I was wrong, I DID complete the Gr.1 race previously but only a P2. And guess what? It was a P2 again today. lol It was a crazy race. My Mazda has been a bit off after the past couple of updates. I feel like just buying a new one and leaving it as is. Anywho..... I was slipping at some corners so had to baby it but was still gaining on everyone. Had to pit at the end of the 7th and stupidly my pointer was not on the stop fueling and I went over by 1 gallon. Pit out penalty made it worse. Then rain came out of nowhere and I had one spin. Still was able to salvage 2nd but Beauvais was gone.

Hypercar race was in the same car I had won this before, FXXK. Same story. I take a good lead then the Valkyrie starts hunting me down. Won by a bit over 4 seconds.

Superfast race was not bad. Threw on some upgraded brakes and RS. Car was much better than before. Easy win.
Sardegna - Road Track - A_ by 2cam16, on Flickr
Interlagos was again with a car I had won this previously. 681pp on SS. Easy 18 second win.

For Barcelona I just grabbed a car I haven't driven in awhile. Race was over before the first lap even ended.

If anyone is still worried about Fuji, if you restart until you get rain you should be able to win it easily even if the AI doesn't lose much time. I just won it on hard with the Gr.2 Audi, had the gap down to about 10 seconds before I pitted, rained a lap later but they didn't lose a lot of time as they were right near the end of the lap. The 908 rejoined about 5 seconds in front and I passed him in a couple of laps and then pulled away, even on the right tyres they're not that quick in the wet. If you get better timing on the rain that gap would be considerably larger, even more so if you're in one of the really fast cars like the non Gr.1 LM55. What made me wonder if it was possible was that I'd run it in the VGT Ferrari and won by over a minute and that car isn't that fast, figured something a few seconds a lap slower with some help from rain would do it. Makes me wonder if you had the best case scenario with the AI losing time from the rain, how slow could your car be to still win.

Haven't had the best luck with getting all clean races lately, but still having fun.

Just 30k from a 4⭐️ daily.

There's not much to say about the races 1 2 5 as I did a first test run with the 812 at Barcelona, drove a dominating 700 PP ZR1 at Interlagos and the LM55 Gr.1 at Fuji. Even Fuji was easier than expected although the race was dry most of the time. Had reached and overtaken Wong at the end of lap 7, went into the pit, got back into the lead at lap 9 when all the AI cars had had their pit stops and brought my car home then through a final lap of rain.
The job at Sardegna was to get up to speed with the 812 under race conditions. I came in second twice, guess it took these two attempts to realize the car is a cruiser not a racer despite being that fast. Finished first the next run ... but all in all, well, I'd prefer my old Dino over this car every day.
Now the Hyper Car Event was what I had looked forward to but sadly it's kind of a farce somehow with the Valkyrie adapting in such a wide range to what ever you bring. Saw her running 10.45 against the Corvette I had used at Interlagos, saw her running 10.25 against my winning swapped LC500, saw her running 10 minutes dead against me in my own Valkyrie. Must have killed Beauvois realizing he can't keep up no matter what ... Anyway, guess I'll return to St. Croix testing more cars.

What I used for the weekly, the new cars for me, the Mito, DeLorean (engine swapped) also the Superfast as it has a widebody and also all the permanent modifications and weight reductions (Superfast used last week doesn't have those permanent modifications) also the first win for this LaFerrari with all the modifications and widebody (my stock LaFerrari has won before).

*Edit - it could well have been the first win for the car as iirc it is usually under powered when going against the other GR1's and it had only done 50 miles, so I cannot remember but it was the furthest GR1 on the "last used" selection.

Don't know if it's just me but I find the one-makes quite disappointing when the AI are all liveried up and 'tuned' but the event is still just easily beatable in the stock car. Makes it all feel a bit pointless? Like a proper no effort filler event.
Well which event did you like and enjoy the most so far?

Can't say that am pleased from this week races.
812 has an awkward ( short of) behaviour like the front and rear end aren't " connected " .
Try Fuji sometimes to find out if i can win non stop with LM55 but i failed 🤣 .
The La Croissant is one of my top hate list track , i don't know her and thought i could gove it a try with some cars i like but the existence of that damn Valkyrie ruin everything.
The only race i enjoy was at interlagos using a Vette from previous Titans race around 650pp .

Anyway ,at least we have credits and not bloody tickets.

I first tried the Genesis race VGT on Fuji but failed spectacularly. Then I used the SF & RB cars on my other user accounts on Fuji, it was easy to win with 30 seconds to a minute especially with rain. Then I radically tuned the Genesis race VGT & somehow I won with it at Fuji. Also used the Mazda RX-7 on Sainte-Croix, I won with 3 seconds.
I almost thought to ask here for a tune or just get better at driving a semi-decently bad car, but the Genesis race VGT isn't worse than many of the hyper cars {road cars} in GT7. I think.

Edit: I used the assists when driving the Genesis race VGT, that could be the main reason I won with it. I usually never use assists because it is generally boring. Strangely I think it is more fun to drive an overpowered car and/or a car with RS tires when AI cars use RH or sports tires.

It's a strange car, not much downforce and insanely fast in a straight line but it'll wear it's tyres out faster than anything else. Usually with that car I use TC1 or it's very difficult to get out of the slow corners, I don't think I usually go below 4th gear either. It's very good at Daytona and Le Mans but somewhere like Road Atlanta it really struggles. I'd think depending on the track you can probably be faster in Gr.2 cars if there's a lot of high speed corners and short straights.

My weekly cars, all first time drives except for the Ford GT '06

European Sunday Cup 500: Stock VW Golf VII GTI '14. Could probably do with some brakes or better tires. First place, no CRB🔴
American Clubman Cup 700: 680PP Ford GT '06 on RH. Easy win. CRB🟢 Should tune the gears as I didn't even crack 5th
Hypercar Parade: Porsche VGT Spyder. What. A. Brick... Does NOT like turn-in-braking... Barely won from the Aston... CRB🔴
Gr1 Prototype Championship: Hyundai N 2025 VGT Gr.1 on RM. Short shifting on FM2, splash of fuel for the final lap. No win, so tried again with RS, FM1 and pit after lap 5. Win with small gap! CRB🟢
Ferrari 812 Superfast One-Make: Weight reduction & brakes upgrade was enough for an easy win. Suprised how understeery on exit this car gets... Supsension upgrade recommended:lol: CRB🔴

I couldn't win the hyper car challenge in an Evo Lancer with RS & nitro..! I got 2nd or 3rd place but tried again in a much faster car & won with 5 seconds. This hyper car challenge is an inverse chase the rabbit in which we are the rabbit at least after the first lap.

Yeah it just kinda sucks. One single AI bot killing the entire race event.

Just did the hyper car race with the Ferrari Enzo '02 and won with +15 seconds. The Valkyrie isn't super fast, not on easy or medium level, but the track is very difficult for some of us because it is hard to learn and it is totally different than any track from GT3-GT6.
