Missed 2 weeks by being on vacation with the wife and kids but...

Im Back Episode 4 GIF by Friends

Sunday Cup Classic: No classic this time, went for a first drive in the Honda CR-V. Stock, easy win. Will NOT drive that thing again
Qashqai One Make: SH tires was all I needed... Another easy win, and another 'wil not drive again'.

Turbo Sports: R32 GR-R Nismo with a VR38-DETT swap. 700+HP. Love how this handles. Easily won by a mile!

K-Cup: Suzuki Cappuccino with some tuning is my go to car for these 400PP Kei events. Another easy win...

Tokyo WTC 600: I don't get the apeal this gets as a grinding event. Yes the pay is good, but man do I hate this... I rather do 3 Le Mans over 1 Tokyo grind... But on the subject, I rememberded a car that could beat this race quite easy. Toyota 86GT 'Limited' with the LT5 Corvette swap. NA, 760hp, sport hard, 699.10PP, top speed 340-350kph. 1 Lap FM1, then FM6 and shifting mid rev-bar. Pit on lap 9 for a little more fuel. Won by +1min.

Payout was okay, got all CRB, for the car ticket I got a Ford GT '17 that I sold for 220k. Daily was a part ticket (titanium rods for the Guilia GTam), the other part ticket was also titanium rods, but this time for some Honda Civic I thought.

Hope this week is more interesting as this was fairly meh for me.

Given up on this, at absolute best, on easy, I managed a 4th, usually a 5th or 6th.

It's too time consuming and too bugged to bother with, just for a car that at best is worth 400k

Easier ways to earn that.

I have two videos available on my channel. Both WTC 600, both in the same EXACT car(a detuned Viper) one is a no stop race, the other a pit stop race. The only difference between the two races is use of the fuel map. Both attempts were successful. Set up and settings precede the race. Channel is called @racernumbersix on YouTube.

That's a good line--up for me.

Also reminds me to slap some new liveries on two cars.

Edit: HOLD UP

Holy crap. Combine that with the usual first two tickets and that is easily a million credits. Did NOT expect that

This is just too much for me to deal with lol. I run all the cars FM1 with 1 pit stop at either lap 6 or 7. Winning by over a minute though, I might try this car on FM6 the entire time.

I hate the Vipers because a), they drive like crap, and b), they're so fast in the game but it's a complete lie. I think they're paid advertisements. I did win with the Viper I used, but it wasn't a great drive.

Why you do think they drive like crap?

The Tokyo WTC 600 took patience and some risks on corner exit to keep consistent lap times. Finally finished it before the new ones come out.

Great, Formula. :grumpy:
I'm gonna assume you aren't keen on the open wheelers or the Super Formulas in particular.
And not only Formula, it's and the La Croissant 🤣
Oui oui

The SF event at St Croix will be an intense battle for some folks. Best of luck to everyone!
Luckily its B for me, the one I'm the most tolerant of. Not too long and not too frustrating, Just the right amount to not make me want to go into a rage.

Forgive me, it's my bias coming out. I've driven several in real life, which colors my judgement. On the game they don't suit my driving style because they're unforgiving, and spin the rear tires coming out of corners too easily. I basically have to police my throttle constantly, and that's just not a fun drive. Opposite of the XJ220, which is literally the picture of stability at low speed, high speed, heavy throttle inputs, out of corners, anywhere. It's simply brilliant.

I only like only one layout of Croissant but don't remember exactly right now which one is .
The worst track by far for me at all his long versions.
Anyway it will pass as will pass the Tokyo race we have now which take All 3 places at my hateful podium list
The second one begins with number 4 🤣

No worries. That’s very cool actually, which ones did you drive irl? Are they comparable in handling to the ones in the game? The XJ220 has a turbo so maybe that makes heavy throttle input better.

It may be a surprise for this week, but it has happened before.
Edit: January first week.

I've driven them all, but only a couple of them hard. The problem is that they're quiet and subdued until they're not. The driving position is absolutely terrible as well, because of the huge trans tunnel. And yes, in-game slow throttle response from a turbo is much preferred to immediate torque that spins the tires.

Are the 1970s Skylines eligible for the Special Event?
Yep. If it's a Nissan and a Skyline-era road car, and a GT-R (or the two NISMO models, one of which isn't a GT-R by name) then it's eligible. The AI only seem to use R32-R34 generations though.

Edit: Lol, caught it mid-flash, because of course I did!
