Picked and dressed...
weekly-challenge-202508w3-cars.webp

Looks like a fun week.

Wish I wasn't stuck driving so many repeats, though. The GR86 is the only one that is a first-time drive. I've gone through all the Kei cars, Ferraris (at least the ones that would be at all competitive), BXs, and Gr.B cars.

Looks like a decent week. I've done all except of course for the Citroen special. I'll probably try some cars I've never ran in these races.

Decently fun week. Japanese FR Challenge is a little harder than I expected, there's that gold heavily tuned Silvia that shows up in other races although the AI seems to have a ton of trouble driving it. BX one-make I ended up using a fully tuned car after a stock one wasn't enough, weakest Sainte-Croix layout for me. Lightweight K-Cup is a banger, weather makes things really interesting and if you don't mind some blocking at the end you can win with very slow cars. My Honda N-ONE is to match the Owners Cup specs, AI is like 50 km/h faster on the straights so it was a last corner pass that won it. Probably will do this one with some other cars just because it's a lot of fun. Really like weird combos like this and rain always makes things more interesting for me. Ferrari Challenge is pretty easy given the AI cannot drive through the death chicane at any speed, stock F50 had no trouble, really fun car to drive. Gr.B at Trial Mountain is very easy again because the AI can't drive one bit of the track, won by over 50 seconds pitting on lap 5 for tyres and a bit of fuel, always enjoy driving those cars. Curious to see if anyone can win with the WRC/Group A cars without any tuning, not sure it's possible there like it was at Tokyo.

Wishing everyone a great time in this weeks race.
By the way my 6☆ car ticket gave me another La Ferrari.

Very low payment this week and the last race is ridiculously low .
Anyway what stays interesting is Ferrari race and for the payment the key at green hell with 150k for less than 11 minutes, if you survive in rain which isn't so difficult if you don't over push it .
I got an SF Toyota sold for a bit more from 400k .

Anyway it's heavy summer here and the sea seems way more attractive than anything else .

31-2025.webp

1. Japanese FR Challenge 450 - To begin the week, I used the Mazda RX8. It's a car I haven't driven before, and stock it's just below the recommended amount. It's a decent thing to play with, a bit slippery but not too much.
2. Special Event - This is one of the few times where Sainte-Croix is a good circuit. It wasn't too hard to get first.
3. Lightweight K-Cup - I used the Suzuki Cappuccino here, an upgraded model with some aero, platform and power upgrades, which made it fairly easy, but the rain did make it quite slippery which made me lose the clean race bonus.
4. Ferrari Circuit Challenge - I used my personal favourite Ferrari, the F430, and I noticed it seemed to be a favourite for the AI too, as most were using a F430. I do wish we had more older Ferrari models, such as the 360 or the F355.
5. World Rally Challenge Gr.B - This was pretty easy, stick it in fuel map 6, and outdrive the AI. I went in on lap 7, and had to go back in on lap 8 since I accidently stuck on softs rather than hards, and drove way too hard, leading to me taking a quarter of the tyre's grip in a single lap (I have a very aggressive driving style)

EDIT: Forgot the ticket

Aside from a racing camshaft or whatever for the Toyota S-FR concept, I got very lucky this week. For the daily drive, I got a Suzuki VGT GR.3 which I sold, and in the 6 star ticket, I got a Toyota FT-1 concept, which I also sold and using the extra money, I brought the Audi R18 TDI '11. That completed the Audi menu, and gave me a 6 star ticket, which gave me a Bugatti VGT GR.1. Suffice to say, I expect 5,000 CR for the next million years.

Great scapes.

That pic is very....well....Gran Turismo-esque
😀 A completely eclectic mix of cars. From a Japanese Kei to one of the rarest supercars ever built
🤣

Japanese FR Challenge 450: Subaru BRZ STi. Figured I'd give it spin, fun thing.
Lightweight K Cup: Honda N RS. GOAT'd as usual, though that rain did scare me for abit
Ferrari Circuit Challenge: Ferrari 458 Italia. The Challenge Build is back..and boy, does it need refining.
World Rally Challenge Gr.B: Lancia Dela HF Intergrale Rally Car. Granted I did it on lower difficulty as I was just not feeling it, but worked just fine stock.
Citroen BX One-Make: Hate this and the C layout, both feel like they are too long with little to no reason.

For the first time ever I did a complete clean sweep - all races won on the first try with the CRB, on hard difficulty in one sitting. Getting every bonus on the first run is usually hard enough, although it's happened before, but I've never even attempted all five in a row.

An entirely overkill S15 Silvia, a 500PP BX on sports softs, an Enzo swapped F40, a 400.00PP N-ONE and a turbo'd 86 GR was the winning combo. Didn't even have to pit with the last one, fuel map 4 and a victory margin of over a minute.

That's this week done...

weekly-challenge-202508w3-r1.webp

Lago Maggiore - Toyota GR86 RZ '21 - This car was way over the suggested PP, so I just drove it stock. Easy win. First ticket obtained. It gave me weight reduction for the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon '18.

weekly-challenge-202508w3-r2.webp

St Croix - Citroen BX 19 TRS '87 - This took a couple attempts, and even then it wasn't a win. First attempt was with only CS tires -- finished P4. Second was with sport-level upgrades, for a P3 finish. I feel like a win was within reach, but I made too many mistakes to get there. Still, got the second check mark.

weekly-challenge-202508w3-r3.webp

Nurburgring - Daihatsu Copen '02 - This car is fitted out to the limit. Too many upgrades to list. The most notable one is the low-RPM turbo. Made sure to shift in the 7-8k range. Easy win. Second ticket obtained.

weekly-challenge-202508w3-r4.webp

Dragon Trail - Enzo Ferrari '02 - Upgraded to SS tires, which put it over the PP limit. Had to enlist a power restrictor and ballast to get it back under. Another easy win. Fourth check mark obtained.

weekly-challenge-202508w3-r5.webp

Trial Mountain - Toyota 86 Gr.B Rally Car - I lowered the suspension a fair bit to make the car more stable (140mm, IIRC). I ran a 5RH-5RM strategy (only because I forgot to switch to the RMs before the race). It was another easy win. Took the lead while the leaders pitted at the end of lap 6. Final ticket obtained. It gave me a Porsche Mission X '23.

Decent fun this week.
Had to detune one of my N-Ones for the Kei race. It was a close one v Igor and Miyazono. Torrential rain came halfway but dried out . Was in 1st by the time we got to Dottinger with Igor in third. Then I saw Igor fast approaching and even overtook Miyazono. I was able to hold on by a bit over a second. After watching the replay, Igor was almost 20mph faster than we were on the Dottinger! Gonna try other Keis for this race.

Gr.B in the same car I have won this race in several times, Dirtfish WRX. It was over at the end of lap 2. Went in for a quick splash of less than a gallon. Won by a minute and a half.

'07 430 on SS for the Ferrari race. Good racing and won by about 5 seconds.

Citroen in my mildly modded car on SS. Handy win.

Lago was in a stock Subie BRZ at 454pp so a bit over. Good racing again and won by a couple of seconds.
