Well that's me not completing the week again. I've never wanted to buy the Superfast, and have refused to do so on principle. You should not be force to purchase such a high value vehicle to participate.

What a deep and insightful response. Thank you.
Right, because your original thought was so insightful. The thing’s 550,000 Cr, it’s nothing. You’d make a positive “return on invest” in no time, even if all you might do are the weekly challenges.

Thank you for actually engaging using language, instead of being rude, through the use of a gif, in an attempt to mock my input to the forum because you didn't agree with the sentiment.
As to the point you raise, As I have stated in my response to Famine, in hindsight it would have been a worthwhile investment to purchase the Superfast, had it been possible to know in advance that there would be several 'One Make' events. However an action taken on principle, is done so regardless of the potential gain that is sacrificed, that is the point.

So I decided to take them both to TT and was absolutely stunned that the Carry was 6 seconds faster...even with a 5mph less top speed on the main straight. Beyond that, my 660 lap was very clean (it's an easy to drive car), and my Carry lap had mistakes.

I'm still not giving up my 660 because I like driving it so much better, but yeah, the Carry is faster.
Oh, your 660 is swapped. My swapped one is maxed out, so no way to get it down to 400PP unfortunately.

I'll be a bit brutally honest your principle is just stupid. Yes, you need the car in the one-make to do the event. That's just basic game design. It's why you get silly responses.
An entry requirement is the absolute bottom of the barrel for making things unique, refusing to buy a barely expensive car in 'protest' of it looks like you're throwing punches at the air and proudly proclaiming it.

Complaining about needing to purchase a car in the 550,000 credits range just for ONE of the races just seems silly knowing:

- You can easily make 550,000 credits in 1 race (If you have GR.4 car or a GR.3 car you can carefully detune, I know just the one)

- At most, that's 800,000 credits to make back total and that is just completing the races. Throw in a 1st place at all five (Lets say you do them all on easy) and that's a pretty decent 1,207,000 credits total between that AND completing the races. And that's not factoring in the clean race bonus.

- There are races requiring cars that are worth twice as much (Sometimes more then that). Hell, one of those events have come up multiple times in the Weekly Challenges (Every single car in that race easily more the 550,000 credits) and I was just lucky I happened to already own the car I use in it via winning it in the Daily Roulette.

Just find your principal just for this race in particular odd considering there's multiple races that's been in the game that's required cars well over that amount.

All of this is true, but I feel like PD should let people rent cars for a specific race, given how dirty they did us with regards to money from the very beginning. I know they have been trying to make up for it, but IMO the can never, and still do us dirty on prices.
