My choices for tonight:

First time I've determined what I was gonna use before I even booted up the game.

Is this the first time we've had Real World Circuits for all the Weekly Challenges? Just occured to me that there isn't a single fictional track this time around so wanted to know.

Pretty easy races this week. Jimny cup is probably the easiest of the lot because the AI is genuinely terrible around that track, I won by 5 seconds in a stock Jimny XC, I think you could even restrict that more and still win. 4WD Challenge is also quite easy given a stock Afeela was more than enough, there's some good fun options for stock cars around here, especially with how good Road Atlanta is to drive. Supra one-make is similar to the last one as they all have heavily tuned cars, but I wanted to try and use something that wasn't a full race car on RH so ended up using my V12 swapped Supra with SS tyres. Ended up being a decent challenge and fun to drive as the sun went down. Turbo Sportscars was reasonably easy but you have to watch for the AMG GT R, it was running 2:10 laps trying to catch up, also I assume it can rain as I saw some on the radar but it never got that close. WTC 700 is fun, great time of day change late in the race and Laguna is perfect for cars around this speed. Went with a Clio V6 to match the Trophy one from earlier GT games, fuel and tyre usage is really good on that car so it was a simple win with a stop on lap 5 for some fuel. Think you could probably do the whole race on map 6 if you tried but I just ran map 1 and went fast, AI has some weird strategy with a few cars pitting on lap 9 so if you don't think you're going to win just wait and see if they stop.

This weeks cars:

One Make Supra @ Watkins Glen
Same car @ Suzuka for the Turbo Race..
Same Supra for the WTC700 @ Laguna Seca.
Well done ! I knew we could use a Supra for a good chunk of this week's event.

Only done the 3 first, so I'll try the remaining ones with the Supra I used for n°3.

How did you get it to work for WTC 700? Fuel use is heavily skewed towards the purpose built cars.

Any road car will work as long as you only pit once and have enough pace to cover the slightly longer refuel time. Supras generally have pretty good fuel economy too because you can shift early.
Since I have so much seat time at La Sarthe, I tend to use it as a good benchmark for 700pp builds. As long as a car can make it 3 laps, it will be perfectly useable in any of the 700pp events. The Supra is a good option in my experience.

First time I've determined what I was gonna use before I even booted up the game.

Jimny Cup: Sierra JC. Not the biggest fan of this track nor am I any good at it but thankfully, the AI are even worse.
Japanese 4WD Challenge 600: Mitsubishi Lancer Evo Final. This car build never ceases to be fun to throw around.
Race Of Turbo Sportscars: Mercedes AMG GT R. Same goes for this GT4 build, might as well be a GR.4 itself with how good it is.
World Touring Car 700: Aston Martin V8 Vantage GR.4. No stopped and still managed some quick times, tire wear didn't even feel dire.
Toyota Supra One-Make: Admittingly, done on Normal Difficulty because short on time and much like Han Solo, I'm in it for the money.

Clean Race bonus on all

2. AFEELA 1 '26 - 530pp,SH,stock

It is finished (hard difficulty)...

Willow Springs - Suzuki Jimny Sierra JC '18 - I'm not sure what modifications I'd made to the car for previous races. Whatever it was, it was too much for this one. Easy win. First ticket obtained.

Road Atlanta - Subaru WRX Gr.B Road Car - The car was pretty close to the suggested PP so I just left it stock. Blew by everybody. Easy win. Second box ticked.

Watkins Glen - Toyota Supra 3.0GT Turbo A '88 - I went to town upgrading this thing. It had everything. Over 700PP. I even went for the RS tires, which turned out to be a mistake. They were good for the first lap, but after that they got so hot I was skating around on the track like it was a covered in ice. It was horrible. Still managed the win for the second ticket.

Suzuka - Toyota FT-1 - There was room in the PP limit, so I upgrade the tires to PP. Made for another easy win. Fourth box checked.

weekly-challenge-202509w1-r5.webp

Laguna Seca - Jaguar F-type Gr.4 - I went with RM tires on this one because I couldn't remember what worked best here. When I saw at the start of the race that the car had more than eight laps of fuel, I decided to try a no-stop strategy. That meant aggressive short shifting around 5500-6000 RPM for the duration of the race. I only managed to overtake one car on track, but one-by-one and then all at once the other cars pitted, letting me take the lead to the finish. Final ticket obtained.

Another round of races and another set of weapons chosen 😎 so straight to the point:

1) Jimny Cup - Jimny Sierra JC ‘18; 470PP on Sports Hard tires: just wanted to get this one done, I usually have fun in these lower tier races but not today, easy one and done

2) Japanese 4WD Challenge - Subaru Impreza 22B STi ‘98; 599PP on Sports Hard tires: my favorite pocket rocket got a workout today, this time the pack was the top five positions and on the third lap as expected the ai slowed down and well, another one done

3) Toyota Supra One Make - Toyota Supra 3.0GT ‘88; 699PP on Racing Hard tires: this one was finally a good one and fun! The 1P and 2P were as expected overtuned because they outbraked me and were hard to catch on the straights too, had to play aggressive and then on the last lap secured 1P by the bus stop, yet won by just 4 seconds!

4) Race Of Turbo Sports Cars - Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 ‘13; 690PP on Sports Soft tires: Love this underdog car! It sounds wonderfully and handles great! Just a hidden gem underrated because it almost has no chance to shine but oohhh man, this race was the best of all! The fight was on Between Kokubun on his Amemiya and some random name on the AMG, and with rain almost the entire time! Trading 1P between us three it felt like a Sophy race instead! The win came at the last sector and won by just seconds, and the underdog scores another one!

5) World Touring Car 700 - Mercedes Benz W 196 R ‘55; 676PP on Racing Hard tires: Truly wonderful performance from this gem, the view from the cockpit is second to none and can make this one a no pit stint on FM1 and tires on half still, win in style

The Race Of Turbos and the Supra events were the highlight for me, both felt like racing with Sophy on medium difficulty, challenging and fun! More like these please PD! Got $500k from the 6* roulette, not bad at all

Another decent week.
For the Jimny race, I just wanted to get it over with some fun in my swapped one. lol

For RA, I used the same car I won it in last week, Afeela. Easy win over the other Afeela by around 6 seconds.

I underestimated the Supra race with the first car I tried so I just went with one I had at 600+hp. First two laps were fun, specially the second when I had a battle with Mr. Fast and Furious in the gold one and the murdered out one on my left ,who were p1 and p2. After I passed them it was over.

Suzuka was in the same car I won this race last, Nissan Z. Easy win over the MB.

Laguna was in a car I hadn't tried for this race. Tom Ingram made a visit stateside. Good racing. Went in for a bit of fuel after lap 8. I came out just behind Blazsan in his Suzuki but after I passed him at T5 it was over. Won by 5 seconds.

Won a Suzuki VGT with the ticket. Already have one but I'll keep it.

why are there the same races which they already put on previous weekly challenge races?
It happens sometimes.

Then again there's been 475 races featured in Weekly Challenges so far, and World Circuits only has about half that.

Even accounting for the fact that 90 of them have been unique Special Events, you'd expect repeats.
