What about a 926bhp 400R on Sports Hards?

A 941bhp Z-tune on Sports Soft fronts and Sports Medium rears?

Not the most interesting week, partly because I struggled to find unused cars. Sunday Cup is very easy but at a nice time of day, can use pretty much anything you want. 4WD Challenge is even easier given I won with a 460 PP Jimny, curious to see how slow a car people can win with. One-make requires something quite fast, especially if you don't use race tyres. I went overboard with a fully tuned R34 and won by 30 seconds, I'd guess somewhere around 660-680 PP should be fine. Evolution meeting I also overpowered with a fully tuned Evo 5, AI struggles a bit at Monza so I'd guess you can win with someone not far off stock. Gr.1 at Road Atlanta is usually a fun race given it's timed and goes into the night. AI is very aggressive but also very slow in certain spots which causes a bunch of incidents. Had to restart a few times due to getting absolutely murdered at the first corner, even the race I ended up winning I had a car spin across the track directly in front of me. Wasn't the biggest fan of the Alpine but it got the job done running RS on 10 min stints, fast laps were 1:08 but I never really got comfortable with the car. Main opponent to watch out for is the 908 but it wasn't that quick in my race, the others up front will usually pit with a few mins to go so they're not an issue.

Cars of the week:

Left to right:

To begin the week, I used the Sprinter Trueno 1600GT AE86 (Not the tuned version) - It was only a bit above the recommended PP, and I hadn't driven it before. I chose to put on the Initial D livery, because why not.

Next, I used the Mitsubishi Evolution Final Edition as a rally car. It was a bit of a battle with first place, but I did win.

For the Skyline One Make, I used the Skyline R32, made to look like the Mine's R32. I really should redo this car, as it was very hard to control. I nearly took first, but they had a bit more power than I.

For the Evolution meeting, I used the faux Evolution LM I built a few months back. It made it very easy.

For the GR.1 Prototype Series, I tried quite a few cars, Including the Audi R18 TDI (Something about this car just annoys me, and I don't know why?) and the Mclaren VGT GR.1, I settled on the 908 HDI FAP.

For the car ticket, I got a RUF CTR3, which I sold.

With the money, I brought the Nismo 400R.

What total race times did you encounter guys in the Special Event at hard difficulty ? Aren't they insane partly ? Fastest I've had was 7.16 ... needs consistent 1.48 - 1.49 laps to beat this.

Man the GTR race is a bugger, I keep being cheap about it and being burnt LOL. I am up at 720pp now and that I think will do it but man, tough one. I am useless at GV though, these sort of apexless flowing tracks are terrible for me.

I also finally figured out a way to make rallying tolerable, turn on ASM, suddenly the insane amount of corner drift is controlled and it actually feels like rallying where you can control the slide and work the car with the throttle.

Madness!! Infuriating!! Outrageous!! LOVE IT!! This time there was sweat and colorful metaphors and over 110 heartbeat!!

Oh man what can I say? The GT-R event and the WTC900 event both were the real highlight here. But overall this is nuts!!

1) Sunday Cup - Mercedes-Benz S Barker Tourer '29; 449PP on Comfort Medium Tires: Wonderful cockpit view with amazing sound, traveling in style, no effort at all, as expected from a Benz

2) Japanese 4WD Challenge 600 - Toyota Tundra TRD Pro '19; 610PP on Dirt Tires: This was a no brainer, the imposing cockpit view alone is worth it just for kicks! Also, It's an excellent daily driver, like new condition and carfaux included! Serious inquries only please

3) Skyline GT-R One Make - Nissan GT-R R34 V-Spec II; 750PP on Sports Soft tires: This race was as close as hell as possible, some of these ai cars were close to 800PP or the rubberbanding is made of flubber, was fighting and exchanging P1 constantly with the ai cars, and had to restart twice because couldn't keep the pace being at 700PP. Also, I was determined not to use Racing tires, until the third try finally could win it by detuning an 800PP tune with RH and using Sport Soft tires to reach an even 750PP. Was it worth it? Every second of it!!

4) Evolution Meeting - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR T.M. '99; 600PP on Sports Hard tires: This one was surprisingly good! The top 5 cars were at 600PP or maybe higher but was not near the GT-R race. This was more of a palate cleanser for the main course...

5) Gr.1 Prototype Series - Super Formula SF23 Honda; 932PP on Racing Hard tires: This is the one, this was the highlight for me! I know this car won't eat the tires so it was fuel strategy only, had to pit twice just for fuel and ended the race with half the tires still available. But, this was the one that almost made me switch to easy mode becasue grrrr the ai kept constantly bumping into me and messing up my line, and because they have the speed advantage and I had the cornering advantage it was carnage all the time! But what a race! Had to switch back and forth from Fuel Map 6 to 4 to 1 back to 6 on different sections, and at the end when I finally was 1p with just three minutes on the clock, I overshoot a corner and the ai then pushed me off track! Quick recover, FM2 with 2.0 laps of fuel remaining hoping it'll be enough to catch 1P again and win, and I did win it by just .473 seconds!!

More PD Please!!!

Sunday Cup: Honda S660. A Mostly Flat out blast really
Japanese 4WD Challenge 600: Toyota Tundra TRD Pro. Despite being about 100 PP down, managed that just fine. Funny to watch.
Evolution Meeting: Mitsubishi Lancer Evo Final. GR.4 Setup on a tune at the very race that started it all. No chance for anyone else despite the power advantage.
Gr.1 Prototype Series: Toyota GR010. A decent handling car capable of a 2 Stopper...on Mediums. Pretty good, though abit sweaty too.
Skyline GT-R One Make: Understeer city. Seriously need help with this tune.

The only logical choice for the dirt race😄

You know the saying "Zwei Dumme, ein Gedanke!" ?
This racing machine is tuned to the max ( thus quite expensive ) and unstoppable. There's never been a safer and healthier track-day. Btw I had a better lap than with the WRX road car lol. Un unchallenged win with clean race bonus.

For the GT R, you could focus on camber settings, decrease it in the rear, and the power delivery a bit more to the rear with the 4wd controller.

Tried a few times, usually ends up around 7:15-7:20 range. Won at 700 PP on RH running 1:48's so I'd assume it's possible to go lower if you have a slower field.

Also had another go at the 4WD Challenge and won at 430 PP, for sure a slower car would still win with how slow the AI is here. Tuned Himedic is the obvious pick if you want something really dumb to use.

That GTR race is crazy! I call BS on these AI cars. Went in with a tuned Z-Tune that I had used for some previous race and even that wasn't enough. I only ended up second and 5 seconds behind the winner. Had to tune it up even more over 700pp. BARELY won and played dirty. Seen here after overtaking first a few turns before the main tunnel.

Monza in an EVO I hadn't used for this race. Easy win.

Fisherman's in the WRX I used the last time we had this race for a Weekly. Easy win again.

Tokyo was fun in this S660. I only took first over the Mazda about a mile before the finish.

And skipping RA like I mentioned.

Appreciate PD giving another excuse to drive the N One...

Knocked the dust off of this car, only to get it dirty, at Fishermans Ranch.

As mentioned, the GTR race is tough, but I really like Grand Valley. Finished 4th the first time, and 2nd after that. I'll have to go back, and try to get the win.

Showed no mercy at Road Atlanta.

949pp, FM6, and 2 stops for fuel. Didn't change the RH tires until the second stop.
