First glance I didn't think this week would be any good but ended up having fun with it. Jimny Cup is extremely easy so I'm expecting to see people using stock cars, I didn't think it would be so I made the mistake of taking a tuned car and winning by 40 seconds. Lightweight K-Cup gave me a chance to use a tuned S660 which was a lot of fun around a track that really suits that speed of car. One-make I just figured I'd get over with quickly so I used a fully tuned car and ended up lapping a couple of people. Turbo Sportscars was a bunch of fun with a stock C 63 S, great car to drive around a track that suited it well, won by 3 seconds but no clean race bonus after one of the BMW's parked in the Inner Loop. Not sure how much the grids can vary here, I'd assume there's some quicker ones than what I had. WTC 700 is a race I've done a lot of times, usually to test newly tuned cars out. Normally it's easy because I'm running cars well above the performance level of the AI so I figured I'd run a road car at GT4 spec and see. Turned out the DB11 I was using was quite slow and the AI decided to go faster than I've ever seen, thankfully it rained right at the end of lap 5 so I pitted for IM and managed to catch over a minute to get the lead when the AI pitted. Had to do the entire last lap on IM on a dry track but I had enough tyre life to win by 20 seconds.

Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges: O-Kei Go

A brand new set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges in starting to appear in the World Circuits menu, as Friday morning dawns — or at least for the time zone your console thinks it’s in...
I like the addition to the usual plain purple liveries. You should keep it.

1. I didn't get to use the exciting Jimny with the kei engine, so this was a pretty boring race.
2. I was originally planning on using a S660, but then I remembered I had a nice design on my Cappachino Faux LM so I used that instead.
3. The N Box races are in my opinion quite boring, as it's a case of just modify until you outpace everyone. In my opinion, the next one should be more like the IRL N Box Cup where they have to be stock, Like that daily race a few months back.
4. Never get to drive cars like this AMG. Nothing remarkable about this race.
5. Fun fact, the Volkswagen VGT GR.3 is the only GR.3 car that can go into WTC 700 without any modification. I could do about 3 laps before needing a pit stop. Rain wasn't too bad. Did about 7 or so laps.

My children were out of school today for a teacher workday so my hope was to sleep until about 7. Of course that didn't happen and I woke around my normal time about 5. So decided to do the WC. Started with the 700 LeMans. I took a litle bit time to find a car and decided on the Merc 50sF1. RM @ FM4 got rain at the end of the 2nd lap so I switched to Wets and I used them until lap 5 when the track started to dry up. So I switched back to RM and coming out of the pit I forgot that there is usually a puddle there and you can't go to fast so I ended up in the dirt

I spun out a couple more times hitting wet spots but fortunately I had a big enough lead to win. Next I took the MC20 to Watkins Glen. It is a really great car I wish they had the racing version in the game

Next use the N-One at Brands Hatch

I took my swapped Beat to that terrible track the Streets of Willow. I had a bad spun out but as seen in the photo I took revenge on the AI for my mistake by knocking P1 in the cones

Finally I used the swapped Jimny and adjusted the ride height and stiffened the sway bars and went sliding and jumping in the snow. It was pretty fun

Got a LaFerrari from my car ticket and sold it for a good price

When this happens to me, it's always the internet. I go to the console's
settings and turn off the internet connection, wait a bit, turn it back on, and test it. If it's not at least 90% of normal, I repeat the process or re-boot my router.

Not sure if that applies to you. I'm on a PS4 and am limited to 50mbps because my internet provider won't install fiber optic in my neighborhood.
Thank you. I'm on a PS4 as well. Will check that.

Already done, quicker than expected yet enjoyable. Somehow they were easier than expected or maybe they were close to the suggested PP than the pattern established because even on hard difficulty I had no drama at all winning them, however they were enjoyable and that’s what counts!

1) Lightweight K Cup - Daihatsu Copen ‘02; 399PP on Comfort Soft tires: my go-to pocket rocket for all Kei car races, great handling and balanced power, and this layout of Willow Springs is actually really good for them. Overall nice appetizer round

2) Jimny Cup - Suzuki Jimny XC ‘18; 410PP on Snow tires: stock engine, few mods, still slow yet faster than the rest even though most were dressed in tuner clothes 😄 but being slower helps in getting the CRB so, being slower is faster 😎

3) Special Event Honda N ONE - Honda N-ONE RS ‘22; 449PP on Sports Hard tires: For being the main course this fell a bit flat even on hard difficulty. Close racing until lap three when suddenly they either were distracted or gave up or whatever but went into almost driving speeds gifting me the easy win 🤷🏻‍♂️

4) Race of Turbo Sportscars - BMW M4 ‘14; 689PP on Sports Soft tires: Great car, balanced handling and power, predictable behavior, just a stroll in the park

5) WTC 700 - JAAAAAAGGGGGG F-Type R ‘14; 699PP on Racing Hard tires and engine swapped: Channeling my inner Jezza of course I went with Powahhh in a JAAAAAGGGGG that chewed the competition without much effort while doing speeds close to 200mph and a due economy of 5 full laps before a pit stop for refueling and changing tires due to rain. The JAAAAAGGGGG behaved as expected, without sacrificing comfort, elegance and prestige. A lost art indeed!

Got a Zonda R from the 6* ticket, still deciding if I keep it or go to Luca and exchange some credits for it

Keep it !! Unless you already have one.
Have two, that's why :D but I'll keep it for future funds and tinker meanwhile!

I love the livery for the Jag. Did you create it?
Thanks! Yes, I have made a few cars in that style that keeps growing on me. It's not yet shared but when I get home tonight I'll publish it and let you know
