I’m gonna take a wild silent guess what’s coming for the next Weekly.

Was gonna say watch it be the Neo races, but there's actually a bunch of special picks. Not sure what is going on there, they don't seem to be one singular theme like we had with the JGTC GT500 cars or the Group C cars.

I began testing my new beloved F1 Van for 800pp races at High Speed Ring. That did not go very well.

Additionally, I came into this round of weeklies intimidated; I learn tracks very slowly. I did not have high hopes for a win on hard difficulty.

But I was inspired by @RCKakashi14 's No-Stop F1 Van Run. So I put the work and the laps in and grew to find the flow in a Tillke track (it snowed in hell / Nurb GP over the weekend).

The poor tires near the end:

Yes, that is what happens when I attempt to save tires.

Is the Espace F1 the star of Spec III for me? YAZ!!

I wonder how many Neo Weekly Challenges there have been. Besides, it could be an Espace One Make or could be some new Missions Challenges.

If my memory is correct, Only two (The Willow Springs one was a repeat I believe)

Yas Marina is growing on me a bit. I thought the CE was trash at first. I suck at this and just switched to a wheel but still golded Sector 2 on the second try with almost half a second to spare. Sector 3 is a nightmare.
My 787b told a different story as does the F-XX-K. Both cars behaved well throughout and they enjoyed under steering their way through some of the twisties under close to full power. There are times I should have crashed and burned but somehow just the sidewall of one tire stayed in bounds.
I tried the Canadian circuit and found out fast what the walls look like. I told you I sucked at this game!
I cruised through all the new events at Yas Marina with the new Ferarri, a 787b, and the F-XX-K earning gold in everything except the full lap CE where I hold silver. Of course the Nations Cup offers the F-3500B but I couldn't find one with fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror. I ran the remaining weekly challenges with an engine swapped BAC mono, a Corvette, and a Honda Fit. I got bronze with the Corvette and I really hope they're saving up these Special Events to add into the main game later on.

There was a Special event at Le Mans at night a couple of months ago. Was not specifically labelled as "Neo Classic" but Group C, which means in GT7 more or less the same (well, "classic" Group C would be part of "neo classic", IIUC).

Goodness that right front is gone, and that is on Hards. Not sure its worth doing if THAT is the state of your tires by the end.

This could be a mistake on my end, especially the suspension setup.

Will soften the front and harden the rear, for my 2nd attempt.

But the lap time it makes, on the other hand.

Heavy car, yes, at 3197 lbs. But it has the downforce of a Gr.2 and the pace of a Gr.3 at 800 pp. Maybe slower at top end but it more than makes up for in corner exit speed and cornering.

With a revised suspension setup, I got MUCH BETTER results:

I can trail brake with gusto, the car happily obliges. Less understeer.

Setup is stil classified info, however...
