Edit: Whoops. About to say that’s all Supras in the top 10!
Was just about to post that. Amazing effort from Hill especially, considering he was spun around early in the race.

Funny. Gran Turismo AI are realistic. Waters just ran through the field like a video game. ;)

If the next round and each round after that are as entertaining as this round, I’ll have my V8 weekends filled.

Lastly, I’m fine with the commentary team. Refreshing to hear GT, JC and Frosty over the mic. Lowndes seems a bit on the side and Larko is Larko. Good stuff.

Bit of a shame they didn't interview a single Toyota team after the race.
Yeah, I've been real disappointed with the coverage after the races this weekend. Seems like if you aren't on the podium you're not getting much TV time. Felt like we only heard from the same bunch of drivers.

Also, they stopped talking to the shootout drivers after their runs and have switched to talking to a crew member or team owner instead. Not really a fan of that either.

Talent for the show has not yet been revealed, though News Corp publications have reported Paul Murray as one of the lead presenters.

angry american dad! GIF

Supra before Chevy in front of the F1 stage ain't too shabby.
Shame no Toyota on the F1 grid. I miss Jarno Trulli.

Well, that was a lot more eventful than yesterday's race. Think Wood got very lucky with all the shenanigans happening behind him. Still a podium for Toyota five races in. Never would have guessed that.

What a cluster at the end of the first qualifying session today. Cost Woody a lap and a lot of the cars didn't even get to take a second run because they got to the line after the time ran out.

Man, the driving standards have dropped after the first race. Sure is entertaining though.

And 30 second penalty for Wood? Thought 15 was the maximum. lol

I found it fun after the craziness. Just needed two more laps. Hey at least Macauley held on and didn’t drop way down.

Aaron Cameron just can’t win for losing. He gets hit and hits back, but can’t catch a break.
Sucked for Randall.

A slightly bent T8 Mustang. Really lucky more cars weren't involved, tbh. Could have been a lot nastier.

Those shots of Kostecki cutting through the grass down Lakeside Drive, chasing down the driver ahead were so menacing. Absolute master class this weekend.

I do enjoy the craziness of these races every season, but they never leave any room for safety cars so they always get shortened.

That's the main problem. Seems like the safety cars(and clean up) take longer than at any other circuit.
