Sure, it's not a secret, I think I found it on GTPlanet myself. Or somewhere else online but it's certainly not my invention. You can pour absolutely everything you want into the car, the biggest turbo, the best aero, everything, as long as titanium rods and pistons are left out. It keeps the maximum rpm just low enough that the PP calculation thinks it can't reach 150 km/h with a racing gearbox and you can guess the rest.

Reasonable enough events this week. FF Challenge isn't too tricky, fun track too, always reminds me of something from the old days of the course maker. Clubman Cup can be difficult depending which grid you get, just about got there with a stock '06 Ford GT with the RCR Civic starting at the front. The GAC Maverick is really fast but struggles to pass the other cars, same with the Corvette C8. Time trial was decent but would still prefer a whole lap, really like the way that car drives though. Nissan GT-R Cup is a lot of fun, like the track and it gets dark gradually through the race. You can win around 570 PP on SH, usually there's a couple of really fast cars to watch for but the AI seems to struggle in general around that track. WTC 900 was slightly frustrating because I wanted to use one of the '08 GT500 cars, they're just about fast enough on RM to make it work but you have to avoid getting held up at the first few corners. Took me a few tries to find the right grid as one would've required low 1:41 or better every lap to win, eventually managed after a few restarts running 1:42 every lap and pitting on lap 5 for tyres and fuel. Sometimes you can get lucky and the AI will run out of fuel coming out of the last corner, didn't happen for me but I've seen it on previous attempts.

Drove my NB to work today. Must have been a sign. Set a 48 second Gold time in the 12R.

Knew I wouldn’t win. P3 was fine in my stock GP-Tuned.

Ultimate curb/kerb hop. Heart in throat moment, for a literal half a second up and down. :lol: Lap 5, thought air was going to get under the nose and launch me over the crest when the rear touched down first.

What a nice set of events again on a fine selection of tracks. And although I always have a bit of a hard time with high performance cars I was thinking how great it is to be able to race such a wide variety of car classes. Very enjoyable !
The races at Alsace and Tokyo were too easy. That came a little unexpected cos I thought I had set my cars to a reasonable low PP level. Interlagos and Trial Mountain brought some compensation then with really close competition.
As for the Time Trial I have to say what a wonderful piece of track PD's chosen. Turns 3, 4, 5 that's my thing, loved it !

After a really annoying delay, here it is:



Japanese FF Challenge 450: Mitsubishi FTO. Does the job just fine stock.
American Clubman Cup 700: Chevy Camaro ZL1. Other then a brief brush with Serrano's Vette (which is abit OP), Easy.
Nissan GT-R Cup: Nissan GT-R Premium T-Spec. Second time for my Purpose made build and even on Sport Softs, its untouchable.
World Touring Car 900: Audi RS5 Turbo DTM. Pretty much On par with the 2016 NSX GT500 I would usually use for these events.
Special Event: Took abit to grasp but eventually managed it.

The thing is, as he's said himself, tunes aren't a magic bullet and surely enough there's no magic in that setup from what I can see. Nothing out of the ordinary, no minuscule adjustments like tenths of camber or hundredths of toe, just a well made setup to adjust the handling to a personal driving style. And I can already tell it wouldn't suit mine which underlines what the few of us have been saying for a while now, there isn't a setup that works perfectly for everyone. Much less on every track or even everywhere on a single track, it's always a compromise.
