Well since the race is almost over and most everyone has gone to bed. The car that eggmann and I have been using is the Ford Focus Rally car. We started with the Ruf, then the Delta and finally decided on the Ford Focus( LDM's favorite Rally car). Good luck. Thanks Lafe:tup:
 
I looked at the focus. I remember that it was decent but it didn't seem like it could top the suby proto. I was really thinking that it was the car this week when I should have been concentrating on my driving. I can't believe how much time came off this week.

Just ran a few final laps in the Focus (thanks GT3mich :) ).
Managed to take over 4 tenths off my previous best overall time :D

Can't believe you guys have T3's down in the 48's...that's awesome driving :bowdown:

Oh hey man, thanks for being so open and honest throughout the racing session. :rolleyes:

btw, Regardless of what you all say, I am sure now that results as well as t times show that no matter what my status as a road gt racer is, my status as a rally racer is just what I said... bad.
 
mine are way worse than my road driving skills (if i have them)

The Focus I never got round to testing ... but i do know it can tear up that last section with ease :P

my .3 lead at T3 will be chewed up in the end bends but by how much? :D I think the Focus will nail it ;)

I really wanted to use the Focus but just couldn't get it set up right. Was way off the pace but I dont know why.
Same with the Escort.
Shame really.
 
When I tried this it was with the Impreza Rally Car

466 hp.

I don't know how much that would effect times. Near 16 flat, 33.6?? and near 52 flat.
 
Well, the requirements for which cars are allowed to race this week are simple: Minimum PWR of 2.5, and it has to be able to rally legally (no hybrided ralliers like Famine's rallying GT1-TS020). So all of the rally cars are allowed; you just can't tune them to have a smaller PWR than 2.5 (just in case you didn't know, PWR is power-to-weight ratio). But technicaly this week's over, so it doesn't matter anymore; where's boom with the results?
 
I know enough about pwr. I only oil changed to see if I could add more power. I had a 2.6 something pw, according to the game. I think I had the 1 turbo you can install for the car in.
 
I used the Focus, because it seemed fastest buyable car, and it is a FORD!!:)

And yes, scuderia, the aspfalt feels really smooth, after driven dirt track for a week. My hands are still shaking :D

i made some runs last night but was just not happy with what i came up with in the RG-T. i opted to not post rather than be embarrassed or run the overwhelming favorite scoob. too bad, my 1'12.4 actually does'nt look so bad next to GT3mich's 1'11.4

my submitted Subaru time was 1.11.157 ... very close ;)

best not count my chickens just yet ... never know what the Eggman has poached up for us :D

You're safe with that time Mr P. My submitted run was 1:11.337, give or take a couple thousandths.

I knew those kind of times would be possible. My own submitted time is a low 1´12, and there was just amazingly much room for improvement. But I hadn´t much time yesterday, cause I have test about chemistry tomorrow in school (need to study)..

It was nice to have pure rally race in weeklys (first rally to me). 👍

I can't imagine that you would get upset over my pointing out that you and _____ were not saying the name of the car you were driving.

I know it doesn't say to announce your car. It doesn't even say we have to post our t times. So please, try not to get offended when I say, oh thanks for being open with us. (bad joke, but none the less...)

My submitted time was 1.12.460 in the evo7. So obviously I fell behind this week by quite a bit.

Still some great times in the field this week. Mich, P, Egg, good job fellas.

It was 1'12.3xx (don't remember the x's), and it ticked me off!

I had at least another .3 seconds on my split time, but I could never manage to get the last section cleaned up.

Think of this my friend... I think that my final lap had a 49.6 t3.

How's that for piss off material.
Think about it... a totally ruined lap that ended up as my best.

Then again, it may have been a 50.1 or something.

Just ran so many different laps between 1.12.4 & 1.12.9 I couldn't keep all the number straight in my head.

Oh well. :D
