Woah that is sweeheet !!
I recommend matchin the wheels (cant decide on which one I like best) removing badge from bonnet, handles, filler cap and aerial
and tinting the windows slightly
👍 though ! First yaris I like !!

also remove the side repeaters and make dtm cup style wing mirrors
shud win a Yaris chop contest i reckon !

Dint even turn the PS2 on tonight - too many beers in Leeds, city where I work !!
I feel ashamed !!!!!
definately need to run it tomorrow though - I havent had a good session yet :(

Cudnt resist postin again b4 sleeps - 200 - YEAH !!!
Good luck to all who are testin on Monaco - its a ***** of a track but the most enjoyable when you get it right !!!

so how does a sub 10 grab ya's then
...and im still playing with setup options ;)

Good news:

T1: 19.0
T2: 54.3
LAP: 1'13 and change.

Better news: that was with hitting the wall 7, count'em 7 times :irked: , which means that there's a load of time to come off.....

@James, you mentioned trouble with the last corner - once you get the line, it's really easy to hit over and over - it's just not an obvious one.

Let off the gas (you might have to just touch the brakes) at about the beginning of the Jaguar signs (on your left), and turn in. Wait for the car to line up straight through the two barriers ... then get full on the gas. Be ready to countersteer just a bit as you enter the main straight. Keep it in 3rd the whole way. :D

A little guide for monaco ...

Nice time Bollocks. I'm somewhere near where you are probably, it will be a close race. It might just come down to consistency and passing the AI well.

Holy crap! I'm running POST 10s by a mile!

Hi Nolaf :D :D :D
Welcome !! I think the 94/s is same as the Poly 001 that I use and some of the other racers use the 94/s, so yeah its ok to use that ,
Have u dun the qualifier race ??

This?

* From the GT3 main page, select Licenses.
* Now select S License.
* Now select SSR11.

I don't see where there is a SSR11. Would this be the Monaco test?

Thats it - you need to run the SSR11 - the nasty course thats in the dark !! In the Griffith 500 TVR monster
I think its number 7 or 8 on the special license tests
Run that get yr best time than pm storm with it - He'll include you in the registered drivers and then u can race !!

We are on week 2 which is monaco - we r doin a different track each week for 20 weeks

If you have a look at the Registered Drivers thread and the Register now thread you'll have a bit more info - or just ask anyone!! We will b happy to help :D :D :D

So u think u might get a time in this week for Monaco ??

Have a good read thru the rules n that - there are a few.... like we only run the races that we submit times for at the weekend and stuff like that.

Makes it more interesting though

There are some very quick racers - not me though unfortunately ! :( but its good taking part and someday I might win !!! If no-one else races that week !!

Same here;)

Onto some other news briefly as this is my 1000th post:

commence a driving ban (R/L) in a month or so for being nabbed speeding by a bleeding revenue raiser, er sorry, speed camera
Bloody things, guess that will just give me more time for GT3 and this series

speedlimit.gif
was posted at 60km/h and i got caught at 89km/h, now im down $265AUS and 4 demirit points as well
Ironicly it was in the same place where i lost my licence for 4 months about 9 years ago:lol:

ah fudge it:p

Just watched preliminary qualifying for the Monaco GP and got inspired ... picked up a few pointers, too

Ran about a hundred laps, and right at the end, with 790hp cause my oil light had been on for half an hour ... I ran my fastest lap:

T1: 18.8
T2: 53.1

I scuttled the lap after T2, and still managed to be half a second quicker than my previous best. If I hadn't screwed up, I was on pace for a lap time in the low 1'12's.

This is getting exciting. Thanks for moving this race up, Sandstorm. Watching the real thing makes it way more fun.

:)

Yes, I'll have a time for Sunday... I'll also have my Q time in soon.

Hi, nolaf, welcome to the series, but more importantly, welcome to GTP! :)

The registration test is S License 7. Look and you should find it.

Some excellent times going on here. I'm in the low-to-mid 12s at the moment, if I push I might get down to 11 or even high 10 ( ) but there is NO WAY that I could get down below 1'10!!

Just got a sweet race time today then I forgot that races only count on weekend, doh! Oh well I guess my goal for the weekend will be to beat that time. Getting some favorable AI positions is nice, some spots they will slow you down alot, some spots not so much.

I noticed that Bollocks ran in the last board challenge in the ten lap f1 monaco race. And although you didn't beat all the A level drivers, it was still a bloody fast time that shows you have some experience there and dare I say are the driver to beat.

But I won't give away the top spot honors without a fight:trouble:

good luck everyone

What about me? I'm fast too. Just... need... to... wangle... 5... more... seconds... out... of... the... thing!

"Thet's all ah cen do, an' ah cain't do no more!"

I managed T2 of 53 a few laps in a row last nite - Total times are below 1.15 - but not anywhere near 1.10 !!!! yet anyway !!!

Yeah I'm down in the 12s, no way I'll get to 10!
