Could be a cyst - but do see a doctor before it becomes more than a pain in the neck. Cysts don't hurt, but a malignant growth will usually be painful to touch.

Had a cyst on my wrist when I was younger - my doc said forget about it unless I was concerned about the cosmeticism - he could lance it. I decided to keep it to garner sympathy from certain people sometimes, but it disappeared gradually. All gone now.

I forgot to say something that I should've said in the beginning.


It only hurts if I press it REALLY hard. And the pain is the same kind of pain if I press my spine anywhere else that hard.
