Yea that is true. I think the red bull has flaps on the sides that can be easily lifted when needed. To be honest they don't do that in GT5 at all, but i do know that for a fact.

The Sileighty/Sil80 is actually a combination of a Silvia and a 180SX. They shared the same platform, but the Silvia was a regular coupe, the 180 a hatchback. The Sileighty is a 180SX with the front end of an S13 Silvia basically.

I thought the Renault Espace F1 was wierd, what possessed Renault to make a 800hp minivan is beyond me.
I thought the R30 skyline formula race car was an odd variant among the skylines they had in that game, but I thought it was kinda cool at the same time.
The car at the top of my wierd list in that game is probably the chrysler phaeton, it just looks so ugly in my opinion.

On the X2010, I'd assume they'd be part of the wheel assembly, as for older cars (i.e. XJR9, R89C), I believe they where just removed at pitstops.
