I'd suggest Gore will be pretty safe - I think the stock market's going to be pretty disappointing for a while.

You'd think, but in the last three trading days (I believe), the stock market has risen 994 points - today it got just under 450 up!!

Though I wouldn't be too quick to attribute that to Bush.

Depends on a lot of different factors - for example, did he do anything that would cause it to go down (obviously, in this case, he's done nothing that would cause it to go up, which is why I'm not attributing it to him).
