Been hitting the repeat button on this a few times 👍
Noir Désir - Le Vent Nous Portera

Don't want to be a party pooper but the original was far better.

Yeah, not saying this is better, I like them both. I feel this has more of a happy vibe to it. But the original is just awesome. Especially the music video. It's just so stimulating. :D

QOTSA's new effort, My God Is The Sun:

FINALLY, we have a bit of new QOTSA, and possibly more to look forward to.

What do you mean, "possibly"?

They've got a new album, ... Like Clockwork, coming out in June. And, as usual, there are line-up changes abound: Joey Castillo is only performing part-time, sharing drumming duties with Jon Theodore (formerly of The Mars Volta) and Dave Grohl. Nick Oliveri, Alain Johannes and Mark Lanegan will all contribute on individual pieces, whilst Trent Renzor is also coming back. And there's a couple of new faces, too: Alex Turner from Arctic Monkeys, James Lavelle of UNKLE, Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters and Homme's wife Brody Dalle will also contribute here and there.

But the guest performer who has got me the most interested is Elton John.

Since I couldn't reply directly to your page. I meant possibly as "possibly more for me to look forward to in the future", since I haven't followed QOTSA since 2011 when they released their reissue self titled album and I bought that. When I didn't see any new material on the horizon at that time I decided to move on and look and see what my other favorite bands were doing like Black Keys and Mars Volta (who at the time hadn't broken up). Also it's good to see Jon Theo getting work beyond the limited stuff he did with Zack De La Rocha. Also all the other people you named I'm big fans of except Elton John, so this looks great. Alex Turner being one of my more favorites and happy to see what James Lavelle will bring since UNKLE has worked with QOTSA in the past. Still an epic song. Anyways thanks for the info PM.

Not sure about their new album, it just isn't as good as their first, which to be fair, is really difficult to match.

Oh and ...

The Front Bottoms - Flashlight

Well considering there's 3 albums and 12 years in between them...of course. Is This It is classic strokes and will always be the best but I'm happy with Comedown Machine I think it's exactly where the Strokes need to be 12 years later and much better than last year's Angles.

Currently listening to:
Handle With Care - Traveling Wilburys

2013 Eurovision - Albania
Bledar and Adrian wrecked it!
Most of the dislikes are from Serbs and Greeks, though

Now I feel in the Daft Punk mood!
My favorite parts are at 1:00 (or what I like to call, the fashion part) and 3:05
