Language warning, which should go without saying since it's Disturbed... kind of.

Basic rhythm track without the addition of strings, background choir and lead vocals by Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield. Recorded within the hallowed walls of Hollywood's Gold Star Studio, the Blue-eyed Soul duo's second 'Wall Of Sound' Philles Records release from the spring of 1965.

Modern-day counterculture is alive & well...

Hey, I have that album. I used to be really big on Dick Cheese until it got old, but it's been quite some time and I might have to listen to him again.

I feel like The National is one of those bands where I can listen to quite a bit of their music, and never know any of the song names. It's all one long, sad song. I can name two songs by them off the top of my head, and that's it. I don't even bother to try with the rest. I just let it roll and vibe.

Can't comment on that type of cheese, no experience.

Been listening to The Story So Far a bit lately.

One warm, dreamy and magical evening in early 60's Los Angeles, Brian Wilson (musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer who co-founded the Beach Boys) was driving around listening to the car radio. Upon hearing Ronnie Spector and the Wrecking Crew perform Be My Baby, Brian became enraptured, pulled over and underwent a musical epiphany. He set about producing Don't Worry Baby as a response, with Ronnie in mind as the lead singer. Alas, Ronnie was locked inside Phil's castle, agonized, and unavailable to perform anything. Many years later, she did perform Don't Worry Baby.

Here are both recordings.
