Dave Stewart & Barbara Gaskin's discography. Like Dave's namesake in the Eurythmics they're an electronic pop duo from the eighties. They're a lot more proggy, though. Had to purchase on physical since they don't sell FLACs.

Listening to the new album by Clipse right now. I had no idea they released new music, only randomly saw it on Spotify. It's pretty good so far, Let God Sort Em Out/Chandeliers is my favorite song on it so far. Loved Nas's verse on that track.

Forza Horizon 5 sent me here. Mexican Institute Of Sound's Distrito Federal is a pretty varied disc, not just hip-hop as "Vamos" led me to believe. DJ Camilo Lara's more of an electronic act. I gave his earlier album Politico a listen to but don't like it as much.

I used Amazon Music's AI to create a playlist of "singers similar to Chris Cornell" to listen to while I mowed the lawn. It created a playlist of Pearl Jam, STP, Alice In Chains, Chris Cornell, Audioslave, Toni Cornell (Chris' daughter), Temple of the Dog, Mother Love Bone, Soundgarden... basically a lot of Chris.

The 6th track on the playlist is a group named BIG Daddy LOUD, the song is called... Chris Cornell. It was released 5 days after Chris died.

My latest project to track down the work of the late arranger Wardell Quezergue led me to this Controllers album from 1977.

Next on the list is Jean Knight's 1971 album Mr. Big Stuff. I've been familiar with the title cut for many years since hearing it on Stax's Gold compilation in the nineties but never thought to check out the LP until now.

Wardell brings the horns as seems to be the norm so far with his arrangements.

Jean's album had more than its fair share of clones of the hit title track but I can't blame her and Wardell for wanting to follow up on a successful record.

King Floyd's eponymous second album recorded during the same session seems to be a bit more varied so far.

You've inspired me to go back and run my Soundgarden clips I'd cut from the Telephantasm bonus disc (via Handbrake) and run them through the new AI program I have. I had a different one a couple of years back which I had on subscription for a month (and ran about 500 clips through it in that month) and the difference to now with this newer program is amazing... so thank you. My bar videos will be so much better off, but at a hefty (roughly) 3gb per song my pocket may not be. My in-home computer is okay with them but I'm yet to try them on my bar PC and it may struggle.

So, I'm currently listening to a lot of bits and pieces from the Telephantasm bonus disc.

I'm not sure how you have everything set up but would running everything through PLEX work? Basically you host your files on one device and stream them to another. Kind of like you own Netflix/Spotify.

Unfortunately no. There's too much distance (and walls) to cover and retain a stable connection even with my Wi-Fi extender. Especially as I'd have to stream wirelessly to two 4K tv's simultaneously many times... plus wireless connections to two pinball machines and multiple security cameras in the adjacent garage... and probably more that I'm missing.

I can to my lounge room.

You can see the extender in the second picture (on the table on the left) but it couldn't keep a decent connection there so I had to move it to the bar section in the last picture under the clock. It's still drops out occasionally but that one less wall in way made a difference for the better.
My (and my wife's) man cave/sheila shack is still a work in progress... but it's getting there.
