Want a new, up-and-coming indie band with the tinge of a reminder that the 2000s were two decades ago?

Look no further!

Can't stop listening to these Japanese bands - Hitsujibungaku and Man With A Mission. Was lucky that I got to see them both live in London this month, something I never thought would happen. Hearing my favourite songs live was amazing.

Those were real good. I especially liked the first one.

I saw Danbert Nobacon at a tiny book store in Seattle about ten years ago. I don’t know if he still does, but at the time he was living in a small town in the Cascade Mountains named Twisp. He taught music in the local high school, and a few times a year he would drive down to Seattle to do a live show in some small out of the way club or book store or restaurant or whatever.

Listening to the number one hits of my birth year. Starting from number one.

That sounds like a very cool idea. My next birthday is only about a month away. I might start then.

Number one when I was born was Frankie's "Strangers In The Night". I missed out on the much cooler Beatles hit "I Feel Fine" by a matter of days.

When I hit sixteen Madness's "House Of Fun" topped the charts. It's about the singer's sixteenth birthday.

Three years later the highest selling single was this record:

Someone left money in the jukebox at my local restaurant, so I took advantage of the opportunity and chose something myself. :D
