Why the hell did I have to pay $12 for 2 gallons of gas for my mini bike?!?

I bet your mini bike, like so many other small engines, runs a gas/oil mixture for fuel.

Because you're probably doing it wrong? Why are you paying $6 a gallon?

My sis's fiance got a 50cc scooter for $100, I'm soooo... looking for something like that now. :dopey:

lol, Tree'D

May I suggest something like this? Mine is red with flames.

Mine is NOT this model.

You didn't, the only $6/gallon fuel in the states is racing fuel and a little bike with a weed eater motor in it doesn't require that.

I spent about 9 dollars on gas, and 3 dollars on that wierd 2-stroke stuff.

I can see that you have a deep knowledge of your mini-bike Stiggie...

I only ride it when it's warm. I live in Seattle. I hardly ever ride it.

Here's a question for ya... How is having a decentish gas mileage car good when by the time you have to fill up again gas is $.10 higher everytime... I'd say it'd be better to just keep filling up when ever, considering 1 or 2 gal alone would cost $8+...

Diesel is a rediculous $1.83 a litre, unleaded is stable at about $1.57.

Do the math. If you can. Then let us know how it works out for ya.

Filled up today at $4.39 for premium.

Just got back from the gas station. Filled up my little tank at $60.50 at $4.53 per gallon. That's at least a 15-20 cent jump in the last couple days.

Yay for Tom Thumb. You go up when everyone else goes down.

Never the less, put $3.82/gallon for the 5 today.

Gas fluctuates between $3.799 (who're we kidding? it's $3.80) and $3.929 a gallon for regular at the cheaper stations in Kansas.
Subtract about 10 cents a gallon for Kansas City, MO.

I've started leaving earlier for work, and driving in such a way that the car is usually in motion. I'm keeping the Camry between 29 and 31 MPG.
That figures to about 8 miles per dollar.
Which means I spend about 8 bucks a day just to go to work and home again.
It also means there is very little "pleasure driving" going on in my world.
Hell, I haven't been to the guitar stores in forever...

So it was $4.39 last night and this afternoon it's $4.19...what the hell caused a $.20 price drop in less then 24 hours?

Some guy at work told me they tend to lower the price every day until it goes way back up on a Thursday or Monday. I have no idea how accurate that is.

Maybe they figured they just didn't need to charge that much. They might over estimate it in anticipation of anything that could happen.

The price for crude oil has dropped in the past few days, but I think that is for July delivery. I'm not sure why it would have gone down though...

It did fall for a few days, but yesterday, it has climbed again and has almost reached the earlier maximum by now.

The price of sweet light crude oil is at a new high today...

I'd love to get a loan and get like a million bucks of crude oil, store it in a magic hidey hole for 30 years. And retire completely loaded.

I'd like to win the $20 million Lotto, so I can afford to fill up my Excursion!
