Into the White:
WW2 was incredible.
The finest and worst hour for all of mankind.

Schmeling helped pay for the funeral of Joe Louis.

Louis and Schmeling developed a friendship outside the ring, which endured until Louis' death in 1981. Their rivalry and friendship was the focus of the 1978 TV movie Ring of Passion.[27] Louis got a job as a greeter at the Caesars Palace hotelin Las Vegas, and Schmeling flew to visit him every year. Schmeling reportedly also sent Louis money in Louis' later years and covered a part of the costs of Louis' funeral, at which he was a pallbearer.

Both Louis and Schmeling are members of the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

Genuinely a moment in history people lose sight of and to the detriment of us all.

There are tons of stories from both sides that are good. It was a conventional war, not all German soldiers had something against the Allied forces. ( and the same thing goes for Japan)

Evil prevails when good men do nothing.

Alias I am very close to the end of Season 4. Gotta be very close. Getting a bit strange but still a great show.

Scrubs Closing in on the end of Season 4.

Top Gear UK. Still watching an episode of this once in a while.

At the moment I don't know which cartoon is on, I can't find my TV remote (must have fallen over the side of the bed) - earlier I had watch the Pokemon episode that premiered last week ("A Shockingly Cheeky Friendship!") - this rerun happens every Sunday, usually Saturdays are the new dubbed episodes.

I'm hoping that my cable remote didn't fall in the recycle bag (I already took out that recycle bag out a few days ago) - its been a week and cant find it - so at the moment I can't change the TV, last channel I set to "auto tune" was Cartoon Network (for Pokemon at 5:30 am) - now 12 hours later...

at the moment "Adventure Time" - starting to like the cartoon.

At the moment: on DVD - "Police Academy 4 - Citizens on Patrol"

Finished up season 4 and started Season 5. The 4 ending was a shocker. Starting to get a bit sad and depressing. Which is a bummer because I truly enjoy this show. Hopefully it picks up again.

Top Gear UK
Watched a few more of these episodes. I really like these a lot. Sometimes I die laughing at some of the stuff that happens. The episode with Tom Cruise was hilarious. Also enjoyed the episode where they built a 3 wheel car. So dang funny.

Watching Transporter the series and BBC's Sherlock waiting eagerly for s4 ....to. See if Moriarty's back
Also Topgear bets if Jeremy's name will change to Jennifer

Top Gear, they're actually quite educational. Teaching you about the heat retardant properties of Freezer Pizza and the power of 80's police Mustaches.

Re-watched COSMOS: A Space Odyssey. Fantastic show.
I really disliked that show. To many "beautifull shots", and this story has been told so many times before lately. It also seems as if the target audience are people who haven't finished their school.

It felt forced to make it feel like an "awesome" show instead of a show where you could actually learn something.

Like the original series, Cosmos is attempting to drum up interest in science and particularly an interest from younger viewers. That would explain why it is more of an introduction to the topics.

I still like "Faster" better, but because I've watched that about a dozen times I wanted to see the next one.

MotoGP tomorrow, and the snow can't melt fast enough.:D

Currently working my way through the first 2 seasons of American Horror Story.

Comcast is having their "Watchathon" week so my friend talked me into starting Game of Thrones. Watched 2 episodes last night. So far I like it but it is a bit slow for now. I am sure it will pick up. I also never read any of the books so the storyline is a bit strange at times. They sure like to "keep it in the family". Some awkward moments for sure. :dunce:

Just finished watching "Secrets and Lies". I'm not a big fan of local productions, but I do love a good whodunnit, and the writers were smart enough to limit the series to six episodes, so I enjoyed trying to figure it out. The acting wasn't great, and it was a little too reliant on the audience getting online to look for clues.

I'm looking forward to the American version ruining it.
